Not watching because this place uses Canal+ which I assume is French as its provider.
That said, I saw this comment and assumed it was one of the lefties bowling but cricinfo says it was Lyon? Has he been bowling that garbage around the wicket all day? He's F***ing clueless

To be fair mate, Lyon has bowled quite well. There's not a lot for him to work with and he's kept it tidy if nothing else. Got rid of Cook, could of had Root and he's giving it a proper spin.

Round the wicket is far less threatening though for an off spinner. You reduce the amount of dismissals by like 30%

True but I think he's being used, at least for the time being, to hold down an end and allow the three main seamers to rotate at the other end. Although Watson is currently bowling down there now. So rather than coming over the wicket and risking going for runs, he's gone for the safer option of round the wicket.

Lyon has come over the wicket and first ball should of had Root but somehow Smith, at short leg, hasn't caught it. On second look, thanks to hotspot and snicko, it didn't actually hit the inside edge.

Root has got up to 80 but hasn't played as well as he can.

Bowling over the wicket is the only way to effectively utilize slip, short leg and get LBWs. He looks a decent bowler when he goes over, and sh*t when not.

Knew I should've put cash on Root being leading run scorer. Oh well. Good to see that the game has evened back up now

Rogers goes to fifty, his seventh straight 50 in Test matches becoming only the 5th person in history to do so. Everton Weekes, Andy Flower, Shiv Chanderpaul and Kumar Sangakkara

      81-1.

Cooky's still off the pitch mate, dunno what treatment he'll be getting other than an ice bag strapped to his inner thigh. Must be in F***ing agony. Still funny at the time though.

I'd imagine some water and ice on the region. Not envious of him.

England need to break this partnership. Rogers and Smith could put on a lot of runs. Rogers could camp at one end and nudge it around whilst Smithy smacks them.
