Looks like Joe will be out for a while. 'Not in a good place' is how Arne put it. He's done ok Joe and gives cover in different areas so its a blow for him and us. Hopefully he can get back by end of feb or early March.

Can't spend the entire season worrying about something that may or may not happen. And can't buy endless players for every single eventuality. That's why you have a squad of 25.

Thought it was as odd to see him picked to start. Hopefully not a re-injury of the hamstring. Those can be hard to heal.

If he is ill fair play to him for giving it a go. Hopefully its something he can shrug off for wednesday. If hes injured, hopefully not a long term thing as he's the next cab on the rank at CB and also with arnold injured next cab if something happens to bradley or robbo. Vital member of the squad.

LiP, where did you get that he came off with stomach issues? He seemed to be injured when he didn't sprint back really early and then he seemd done.

He pulled up short, that was hamstring for sure. He will be out for 2 months for sure with his injury track record.

The camera panned in on him staring up at the sky a minute before he sat down, so I had an inkling then something wasn't quite right.

Just before that he made that run back when he didn't go full tilt, that was the moment when he thought 'if I exert myself here I could be in trouble' (the moment Slot mentioned in the post match presser).

He then sat down for a minute and chatted away to teammates. It looked like a 'I'm not sure' type conversation. There was no tear by all accounts, and he walked off without appearing to be in any real discomfort. He has, according to Slot, pre-empted something by stopping, but stop what exactly.

It's a strange one. Very curious to see what exactly happened.
