Matip will be back, Gomez not. I don't know it for sure but after 6 weeks you need at least one full week of training and Jürgen didn't mention him to be in normal training again unlike Matip. No need to rush him back.

Not for Palace. But after the Palace game we don’t play for 11 days so I’d be surprised if he doesn’t at least make the bench then.

I saw someone on the tele or papers or something was spouting rubbish about how we need to sign Koulibaly and have him partner Virgil. Why pay the best part of £100mill to sign a player that hamper a player who’s looking just as good? Gomez has been boss this season and is still very young, I see no reason why he can’t go on to become a much better player than Koulibaly, who by the way makes a lot of mistakes through a lapse in concentration.
