Three senior CB players, two injury prone, one CB we didn’t even want and tried to sell and a kid.... for a team challenging the league and CL... keep kidding yourself mate.

With two EXTREMELY injury prone CB you need at least 4 senior level CB, Matip and Gomez CANNOT be relied on, so that leaves us with Dijk and a kid, and a CB we are lucky we couldn’t find a buyer for, Fabinho is a midfielder, and a last chance option...

It’s simple, we all called for it, replace Lovren with a starting 11 level CB, it was simple.

But how many should we have had? and how does that compare to other teams challenging for league and CL?

F***ing hell. Gutted but sadly not surprised.

Looks awfully silly now to go into a season with only three first team centre backs, two of whom we knew would have spent chunks of the season out injured.

Perhaps, but the difference this year is that at least 1 and now possibly 2 are season-ending injuries. You cannot possibly expect going into the season that your best defender who never misses a game was going to get chopped down and injured for the year and probably into next.

This has gone beyond a joke.

Clubs should tell all their players to drop out of international football until Fifa and the league bodies get their acts together over the number of games players are now forced to play in a condensed time frame during a global pandemic.

It's absolutely scandalous.

Just WHAT THE F**k does this F***ing season want from us? They're saying its a serious knee injury and that you need to count in months not weeks.

At this rate we'll be playing Sadio and Mo at center-back by the time January comes around and we'll need to buy 2 Center-backs not just one. F**k me
