      This thread blows my mind.

He's our most important player - he's the one that makes the strongest part of our game so strong. He won't be dropped. He won't be replaced. It's not an experiment.

      I agree.

      He's class.

Yep first name on the team sheet for me without a doubt.

      Defending, chasing, strength, vision, assists.

He is without doubt our most important player.

Nice predatory goal from Bobby today.

Keep doing that to round your game off, and I'll have no complaints.

That little turn deep in our half for the 4th goal. The way he used his right foot is a thing of beauty.

Kind of turn I try at 5-a-side and fall over.

I like Firmino, but my son is a far bigger fan of his than I am.  I'm actually surprised though, that no-one has attributed his header out of defence from Arsenal's corner, as an assist for Salah's goal on Sunday

Thought it was Matip with the header clear, or are you just being a little sarcy?!

I was being sarcastic, but thought it was Firmino with the header when I saw it Sunday!!  In saying that, I had just driven home 4 hours from London to get home in time to watch the game, having been on the p### there the day before!!

Now that we have a goal threat beyond just him and Mane in the team (Salah) i'm appreciating Firmino more so far this season. I think he's our best option as a 'striker' in the squad and that will be tge same throughout the season.

I think he's started the  season well.

3 goals 3 assists so far

       :f_whistle:

It's a big world out there with lot's of different opinions...

If he continues to play as he did against Hoffenheim (at home) and Arsenal he'll surely, eventually get called up.

But it's refreshing to stick your head out of that bubble once in while.

Love Firminho, automatic starter, creative, hard working, just class. My mate loves him more though, admits to wanting to suck him off...which I thought was non-football related but I guess some people get excited.

Here's a tweet that may surprise a few, Bobby pretty close to Salah there. Must admit I didn't realise Gomez was that quick either!

Perhaps not as quick with the ball at his feet, but this isn't really a surprise.
You only have to watch his pressing to see his pace.

Pity he's not a "central striker"
