      Wrong.

Salah has disappeared for large parts of games this season and still popped up to provide a goal or assist.

When Bobby is off form he is only a hindrance to our attack.

They as equally important as one another

He is not wonderful he's just good, a 7 out of 10 player .

He will never be as good as Salah or Mane.

Bobby can pull out those vital flick on's and touches that set up Salah and Mane, and he himself scores some wonderful Goals, Bobby is the glue that binds the front free and if not for Bobby in the team Salah would not score half the goal he does

Salah is all about finishing and scoring from tight angles That's Salah's game. Yes he has good feet, and can dribble and run at players with pace but he is no more or less important than Firmino

Mane... Tricky, great feet, can take players on, runs not stop, tracks back, tackles and wins balls scores goal, always hungry for them work tirelessly for the cause, my only problem with mane is that he can be a bit greedy

Both Firmino and Mane allow Salah to score goals and shine

Bobbys problem is Liverpools. His form is sh*te but because the replacements are Origi and Sturridge he keeps being picked and knows hell be picked

Can understand people saying Bobby's form has dipped recently, because after that Arsenal game it most definitely has. But that being said he is still an amazing player to have at our disposal.

Today he showed exactly why, he wasn't playing his best by any means but he wen't on to provide a breathtaking assist for Mo, ask Mo who he would want to be picked along with him in the team week in week out and my bet is his answer will be Bobby.

      Yep.

I amazes me that anyone could call for him to be dropped.
He does so much that people don't seem to notice.
For instance, if Firmino does't drag the defense out of position, Wijnaldum doesn't get in behind for his goal.

Better but still not at his best, good signs for the run in with Bobby returning to what we know he can do.

Very good today. He plays well, we play well. Keep that up til the end of the season Bobby and we will take a bit of catching.

thought he was excellent today he gets involved all over the pitch and is always available. The way he set up Mo is him in a nutshell he is just such an intelligent lad but then again most of them are aren't they

It's his work off the ball that is irreplaceable and of big importance to us more than anything. Klopp has frequently talked about or mentioned that aspect of Firmino's game rather than the numbers he is putting up in terms of goals and assists. When we were playing well at the start of the season, he went a number of games without getting on the scoresheet, yet we were still scoring plenty of goals. A lot of that is down to Firmino. Then when he combines his work rate with being good on the ball during games, that's when we look at our absolute best.

There's not a single player in the world that I'd rather have than Firmino playing that particular role. Sometimes he is infuriating when he looks a bit careless on the ball etc., but I can forgive him that. He's a mad, brilliant player.

On another note, it doesn't entirely excuse his poor performance against West Ham, but rumors are he had been ill too in the days prior to the West Ham game. It seems that the bug that went around really caught the majority of our players and would explain the big drop off in performances during Leicester and West Ham with a lot of our players, including the likes of Robertson and Van Dijk for example.

      100% agree Danz.

Watching this team without Bobby Firmino is like trying to eat a pizza with no base.

Apparently no Firmino in training today due to a virus. Unusual amount of illnesses popping up and I’m wondering if the trips to Dubai/Marbella are a factor.

Me and Mrs both ran with common or garden viruses until totally floored.

Half my work off at the moment and I work in the HQ of a massive company.

I think the Dubai / Marbella thing is a red herring.

      Plenty about.

Yeah been a few - that’s kinda my point there’s loads of virus / bugs about everywhere just now.

I’m not sure the trips away are the issue - correlation vs causation.

I can’t see it being down to the trips away because we aren’t the only team suffering with it.

I hardly ever get sick till I travel. That’s just my personal experience. I seem to fair well against the local stuff but I go somewhere else and catch something. Could just be cooncidence, but a change in climate a lot of times plays havoc with my immune system.

I’ve hardly been off my back for a week now mate and as most on here know I’m a bit hyperactive physically.

Overall I’ve not been right since November and should’ve rested up earlier.
