He is being played out of position and the whole team is in disarray because of the injury situation, you select scapegoats to order when it is not their fault or the managers'.
Who else is there to apportion responsibility for the f**k up?

In what way is Bobby playing out of position??

Bobby is currently sh*t and a top manager would drop him, its baffling why Jürgen doesn't do this, as much as I don't rate Origi I'd actually rather play him at the moment.

Hopefully now that Jota is back he can drop Bobby but I bet he drops Salah instead.

Thing is Brian the owners are directly responsible for so many of the problems facing LFC currently.
Their short-term solutions by definition have a short sell by date and in time will be discovered and the faults identified.
All the bullshit conveniently involves less financial outlay for FSG and currently a higher market value for the product.

We could be mid-table and the market value of the club would not change significantly; this loyalty or otherwise to these entrepreneurs is no reflection on anyone's loyalty to LFC.

But theres a thread for them which, as you well know, is like groundhig day with the same debates going over and over and around and around. We dont need to bring it in to other topics especially ones about the players.

Playing out of position when exactly ?

      Nowhere.
We're top of the league and everything is 'rosy'.

Bobby has been brilliant since joining us and instrumental in how we attack with his link up play.

However, there is no denying he is past his peak now. His contract is up in 2 years and it's unlikely we will be renewing it at his age. If we were to get a good offer in the Summer we'd have to consider it. At the very least we need to sign his successor in the Summer to rotate with him next season. The squad needs freshening up and more goals.

Understood mate but as with so many comments I just have to put some reference to FSG at the beginning and it would apply.
What gets to me is some blaming players when the fault is elsewhere.

I'm not sure you understand football to be honest mate if you think he's playing out of position.

Agreed mate, his position should be on the bench next game.

Maybe Rodgers was right all along by playing Bobby on the right? 😂

      Wtf is going on now

      All the front are struggling

But I thought Bobby had one of his better games - always trying to get on the ball and be involved but there was no outlet for him , Mane and Mo were both static , too narrow , the full backs were also static and flat. It was always going backwards where Bobby was desperate to look for something forwards

And blaming the owners

He'll be 30 in Oct so we definitely need to start thinking about his replacement but i don't think it has to be this summer, but definitely by next. With Jota we are 4-deep up front, so it would be great to replace Origi with another Jota-type player, ie. early 20s already established with upside potential.

      anyone watch Brazil much?

If yes, what does he do different for them? Is he positioned different or is his focus as an out and out striker rather then the link man?

Seems to be going well for them

If he is past his peak then at the age of 29 I'd argue that he shouldn't be.

      Raphinha would be my pick.

He would open up loads of forward options for us.

Don't know much about him so can only go by his stats which are not that great for an offensive team like Leeds. At 24 is definitely the right age to come in, learn from Firmino then fully take over in a year or so and only be 25/26 by then.
