Disappointed for him, figure his good start to the season might of been enough to make it they went younger through the middle.

Looking at how the other lads got into the team on social media surly Firmino is going to be absolutely devastated.

We have the best false 9 in the business. Maybe it’s rose tinted but I can’t find a better false 9 than Bobby. And the false 9 is a position which is very difficult to master.

To be honest, I feel like Bobby is one that gets better the more he plays regularly so him not going to the World Cup could actually be a negative for him even though we all think it's good for us.

Players like him need to be playing regularly. It's foolish that Brazil didn't take him. Was probably going to root for them but not now.

Honestly, I’ll watch but also be prepared to be underwhelmed. Until we hire a proper manager, the team is never going to win anything of note. Berhalter is basically an American version of Southgate.

That's really encouraging to hear the club are talking to Bobby about a new deal, i had assumed that he would play out his contract and move on but his form (and playing time) is right back up this season. I think he is having a strong season, and the partnership with Salah and Nunez is beginning to develop nicely also. Hopefully he signs.

Superb news. Well deserved from Bobby and he always said he wants to stay.

2 year extension takes him to 10 years at the club.

Some tw*ts talk about him like he's an old man, ffs hes only 31.
