Never mind being surprised we let Clyne go I’m surprised he went. We’re one injury away from him starting in a season where we might win the league and he’s traded that for mid table? Unless there’s family stuff my mind boggles

Seems strange to let him go. We need cover at both RB and LB, as well as the ability to rotate. Maybe there are other reasons why he's off, but on purely footballing grounds it's unfortunate - hope we bring in a replacement. (Possibly we'll get rid of Moreno as well, and bring in 1 player who can cover both positions.)

I would imagine Milner is the stand in RB so less time for him in midfield - not all bad news then.

Neil Warnock, who gives a sh*t about Neil Warnock?! I’m sure the club have more important things on their mind given we are in a title race, than having the time to let Neil sodding Warnock know that another team is getting on with the process quicker than him. Maybe if he spent less time talking about how he might look to bring Clyne to the club and more time actually doing it, then he’d have got his target. But instead he spent weeks talking about it.

Also, a likely unsuccessful relegation battle or a battle for mid table?... really not a hard decision to make for Clyne is it.

Neil Warnock accusing other clubs of lacking class when he has been known to literally leave sh*t all over away dressing rooms.

I’ll be honest, I’m suprised Clyne asked the Boss for a move in order for more games, Clyne stepped up and produced the goods against Man U.. I think there was a part still for Clyne in the team.

He had just been knocked out of the FA Cup by a team at risk of relegation to League 2, old Colin knew well what he was doing turning the attention away.

I'm more amazed that Klopp granted him a move, he should have said shut the F**k up, sit there on the bench and if I need you then I expect you to play your part then in the summer you can go wherever you want.

      Is Klopp really this weak?

What other explanation is there for letting a senior player leave mid season, a senior player who was trusted enough to play against Man Utd?
Why not keep him and sell in the summer, why sell now and weaken the squad?

A senior player who has barely featured in one and half seasons with two senior players at least who can cover Trent might be seen as a player that we can easily move on without impacting the squad too much.

Maybe Clyne was the sweetener for the Solanke fee & the possibility of Bournemouth buying Clyne for a similar fee in the summer...Im Sure the Boss knows best..

Also I’m sorry you feel sensitive this afternoon, I’ll try not to mention your fishing rod again..🙄

So if Jürgen sold Mane, would you also say Boss knows best, at what point would you ever dare to question him?

The bottom line here is that this is extremely foolish, if you don't think it is then please explain why Citeh and Spurs aren't also getting rid of any fringe players mid season and I don't really give a F**k if selling now means we get a few more million for the player, that pales into insignificance compared with weakening our squad.

While I personally wanted to keep him the boss has stated that Clyne asked to go. With that added to the fact that the boss is happy that we've young lads progressing and 1 ir 2 seniors who can play right full if Trent is out then it makes more sense that he let him go.

Plus its pissed w**ker warnock off is an added bonus
