I'm glad he's getting some action this season because I don't think he was going to get any minutes on the pitch for us this season.
Hope he gets his chance when he comes back

il be keeping a close eye on him with blackpool, he was the gem in the reserve side last year, expected to see him progress to first team squad this year but due to injury and a couple of other things it hasnt happened, nemeth is 20 and needs to be breaking into the first team squad soon

His opinion is invalid, because he's said that Voronin is keeping him out of the team.

And the lad is only about 20. He's got his entire future ahead of him, he will be a Liverpool player, when Rafa sees fit.

was that aimed at me eem, because i can never remember praising voronin if anything i can remember saying he is one of the worst strikers ever to play at liverpool, 20 is no longer young in football that was what im saying about his age not his ability

Missed the first half of the season injured, so he needs this. He's not looked as sharp for the reserves, naturally, so this should sharpen him up.

Great talent, hope he bangs a few in and comes back on a high.

I like this lad I be keeping a eye on him.

He might even sort out their small matter of being draw specialists.

I really hope he shines at Blackpool. It'll be a bigger test for him and should give him valuable first team experience.

Show Rafa what you can do Krisztian!

I hope for his sake he can impress for the month and earn a loan deal til the end of the season. The guy really needs the playing time to develop and get more experience under his belt. Best of luck to him!

Just seen we are loaning out Nemeth to Blackpool, maybe it's just what the lad needs some football at the second tier, which may help him in the longer term and show us how much potential he really has and I for one think It'll do him really good, I understand Blackpool are a football playing team and whatever comes from this loan move has to be good for his career......

I hope he shines and hope he has a future at Liverpool.

Cheers mate. Will keep an eye open.

Funny the way the two main reserve strikers from last seasons championship winning team are out on loan.

Maybe Rafa wants to see how they do against stronger opposition before he promotes them. It'd could be a safer bet than putting them in now when we've got a serious chance at winning the league.

Desperately bad news for the kid, he only went and fractured his cheekbone minutes after coming on as a substitute in Blackpool's 3-0 loss to QPR last night. Really frustrating, this was a chance to prove himself in a really competitive league.

That sucks. Really disappointed that he didn't have the best of starts!

Anyone know how long he'll be out for?

      NEMETH EARNS MANAGER'S PRAISE

      Steve Hunter 28 April 2009

Gary Ablett singled out Krisztian Nemeth for special praise after the Hungarian scored the only goal of the game to win the Senior Cup for the Reserves after a 1-0 win over Waterloo Dock.

The Reds number 28 netted his first goal of 2009 to win the trophy after a superb move involving Gerardo Bruna and Vincent Weijl.

Liverpool County Premier League champions Waterloo Dock gave a very good account of themselves and were unlucky not to score on the night, but Ablett was pleased to win a trophy after a frustrating season domestically.

"It's nice to end the season with a trophy and we had to work hard for the victory," Ablett told Liverpoolfc.tv.

"We kept going and kept trying to playing out football. We weren't great but we won and scored a very good goal. It was a decent passing move and Krisztian finished it well.

"I was pleased for Krisztian as he was unfortunate not to score before then. He keeps getting in there and he got his reward. He's missed so much football this season through injury, and just as he's starting to look sharp again unfortunately the season is coming to an end."

Argentine starlet Bruna also had an impressive game in a role just behind Nemeth and was at the heart of the Reds best moves in the second half.

"I thought Gerardo did very well. We were worried before the game whether some of our lads would have been able to cope physically but he came to the fore second half and showed his true worth to us.

"I thought Waterloo were outstanding, from the lads on the line to the lads on the pitch. We could argue they created the better chances in the second half to be fair but we were fortunate the majority of their efforts went straight at Dean Bouzanis.

"They can hold their heads up high because they gave us a very tough game, one that ultimately we are very pleased to win."

Waterloo Dock boss Jim Davies said: "I am really proud of my team. I thought we put in a great performance and we had our chances but never put them away.

"It was a great occasion for us coming here to play Liverpool. We have been going as a club for 46 years and this was our first time in the final.

"Obviously we would have liked to have won it but there has got to be a winner and a loser. We didn't disgrace ourselves and we did well.

"The lads did Waterloo Dock proud as a club and we now have two other finals to look forward to. I said to the lads at the end let's hope that's the last runners-up medal they will pick up."

Congratulations  Krisztián, been a pretty difficult season with injuries and being loaned out, hope you manage to get some first team action next season.
