Who here is in school/college/university?

Im still in college (6 yrs now ) failed first yr computer science then got my degree in Business Information Systems and currently doing a Masters in Managerial Information Management Account Systems, fantastic time to have decided to go down the banking route since I live in Ireland and the economy just went officially fu**ed last night, at least I'll always have this site on my travels

I go to Indiana University Purdue University of Indianapolis (IUPUI) and I am studying Video Game Design....learning the Unreal engine and 3D level design and stuff. It might be childish, but I am loving the hell out of it.

Childish?  Serious?   Their is nothing childish about a multi-BILLION dollar a year industry. I go to a tech school in Atlanta that offers a degree in Game Design and 3D Modeling.  Thats one of the top tech sectors in the world.  Thats awesome, Software and IT was a "geek" thing 25 years ago and now it rules the world. Even if you dont get into gaming the 3D modeling and coding is used in AI, Augmented Reality, 3D films, 3D TV, Virtual Reality, Science, Military, Advertising, Sports etc,etc...Keep it up and in 10 years you can buy LFC.

I'm in NUIG myself, doing Business Information Systems, in 3rd year, should be 4th year. Doubt I'll do it for a job tho, even though it can pay very, very well. I DJ a good bit and that's more fun so probably stick with that!

I am a first year studying Criminology in Bristol.

Had a letter from a Uni i applied for asking me whether i was going to be going or not, i told them 2 years ago i was no longer going to start Uni

Currently a second year studying criminology & criminal justice at central Lancashire.

Not that it matters as Mr Cameron's 25% Police cuts will just be kicking in as I finish my degree.

Some might remember me raging when i got a 68% on a history assignment a while ago. Proper pissed i was.

The other two assignments in the class? 100% on both. F***ing stoked, but still don't see how the first one was THAT bad

I would be happy with 68%, it's very good here! In fact it's impossible to get 90%, let alone 100%.

I guess its all relative, but yeah from what you have told me it seems harder there. Still, i remember when i got that 68% i messaged him and said what are my chances of doing well in the class? He said i was facing an uphill battle.

And a class i was worried i had failed i got a solid C as well, which the class average was barely a C so im pretty happy with that too. Can finally properly relax now, got my results this morning and even though i finished a week ago - i had been worried. Feels good to be able to relax properly.

Bump. Applied for an American college soccer scholarship. They're only taking 35 lads on so I know chances are slim but there's no reason not to. Got a trial in Salford on March 11th

Just after I posted this, I got something else through the door. So in addition to this trial, I've now got another one at Sheffield United's academy in April. I know how unlikely it is but I'm absolutely buzzing.
