Being in Scotland, I will get to go to Uni for free.
Most of you will have to pay

Ahh nothing to discuss mate, was just a boring welcome assembly where the heads of different departments basically just said where everything is... and well, made us welcome!

Tomorrow I have to get there early morning and attend some sessions I think.

Ross, I hope this silly course isn't going to cut down our forum time.

Listen to this for a killer of a day tomorrow for me.

Double ICT, where I have to sit next to a glory-hunting Manc for 2 hours, listening to his pathetic wind-up attempts (Rooney is better than Torres etc)  :

Then geography, don't mind it too much actually.

Then RE, the most boring lesson in the world, and we've got a test that we were meant to revise for, oops  :

Finish off with PE, where I've got to do badminton (I could've sworn I picked table tennis)

That was nice of you. Hearing some of use going on about Uni is making me sh*t myself. That will be me next year. Just got exams to do. Haven't started back to school yet- the Doc has told me not go back for another 4-6 weeks

It's most liberating. You meet people and become friends with them when you would never have thought you had any kind of affinity with them. It's impossible not to make friends at uni, and loads of them. There's always a night out to go on, and beer in the afternoon is an almost daily occurrence. It's totally boss. You'll be so good at pool in two year's time you won't believe it!

Got up at 7am - went to Chester, handed in my finance forms, had my photo taken, got given my student card, got told how to use the library. Then walked from the Uni to the train station and got the train back. Then walked from the train station to my house. Altogether about 2 hours of pacy walking. I'm knackered.

Back in tomorrow from 9-5 I believe where I think I'll meet other people on my course. Just hoping my mate passed his test today.

AAAAAAHHHH......we started out first lesson on human reproduction system ! It was awful ! My teacher's so strict that if you laugh she'll get really mad and I was also sitting next to my perv friends ! I am never going to look forward to bio class ever again ! I hope we get this chapter over with soon . I'm not immature but I don'[t wan to learn about sex in such detail ! We even had to draw diagrams !

I'm applying for Diagnostic Radiography which is quite hard, but hopefully i'll get in.

Its basically using machines to produce images of the body, e.g. X-rays, to diagnose and treat patients. It can involve treating cancer as well.
