Liverpool Face Another UEFA Charge

The reason segregation was a problem is because UEFA made so few available to the fans of both teams and of course, the tickets for the so called UEFA family found there way onto the black market and for the most part got snapped up by Reds desperate to go the game.

Sounds all a bit like 1985, doesn't it? The only difference between then and now, was no casualties and no arrests. But sadly as then, it was inevitable given the ticketing arrangements, which are UEFA's responsibility.

The flares are indefensible really. Whatever you think of them, you just can't use them inside a stadium, any stadium, and everyone is aware of that. So the response for persistent use of them will be heavy.

who is going to punish UEFA for the ticket debacle that could have ended with serious injuries far more so than the odd flare. We need these governing bodies to be brought down a peg they have far too much power and the clubs always submit to them. Its the fans game not theirs.

I have been saying for years that it is about time the clubs took back control from UEFA and FIFA.Those two organisations would not exist if it wasn't for the clubs.
