Sloppy first 20 then brilliant tonight. One of my fave TAA performances that.

Him and Robbo battled and held it down.

Him going off really hurt us. Thought he was starting to really play well. Didn’t look pretty on the replay. Slots already said he’d be amazed if he makes Sunday. I fear he’ll be out for a while with that

How's he going to play paddle now.

But yes there is potential that that is it for his LFC career.

But would he be arsed battling a legal battle over his paddle court if he was leaving to Spain?  :f_whistle:

Commentary said ankle, but it looked like his knee buckled / he turned it completely.

If it's a high ankle sprain he could miss the rest of the season...possibly back just in time to lift the trophy.

Could tell the way he splayed down you knew it was a bad one. Was very good defensively and was start to having an effect going forward until his injury.

Will be a miss for Sunday

Just writing what i heard mate.

If it's ankle that's a bit better but think he has done ligaments and is out for the rest of the Season. Gutted if true!

His ankle definitely got stuck in the grass and bent the wrong way, but that also puts a lot of unnecessary strain on your knee ligaments. I'm not expecting he will be back any time soon. Like FL said, high ankle sprains are no joke, and if it's his knee, obviously that isn't good either.

I think Trent was the master of his own downfall, he tried getting into the PSG player but ended up injuring himself.. he went in really strong..

Therein lies the reason Salah seldom gets injured and others do. It's about calculating risk. The more you tackle, the more chance of injury.
Trent went in hard where the opponent was no threat..he took an unnecessary risk and has paid the price...if he'd stayed on, who's to say he doesn't score/ setup a winning goal?...no one will ever know, but he will miss a Wembley Final and that will hurt him, and the team. It was a daft tackle.

Attackers are far less likely to tackle....granted, but many do. Salah, doesn't..Ronaldo doesn't...they take the risk of injury out of the equation.
Trent's lunge was stupid in my honest opinion.

Funny because most times people give him stick because they don't think he tries hard enough. Poor lad can't win ;D
