Honestly can’t see how he isn’t a starter every game. Offers miles more going forward.

He has a bright future if he keeps head down and continue to improve. Future captain for me, not in near future but in 4 or 5 years, he will.

Well apart from 2 horrendous corners, I actually thought he played quite poorly compared to how he plays for us, but I also think all the lads were told to not take this to seriously and not go all out for a the win.

Trent was okay overall, but he let himself down when he tried to clear it off the line and kicked it back into the most dangerous area in the penalty box, later on he lost the ball in attack and didn't track back. Perhaps Trent could play if somebody else got on the line, because I don't trust him to do that well. I do think that he has to track back better though, can't be losing the ball then staying in the other half as a defender. A few kinks to fix, but he is coming a long as a decent player.

Oh absolutely he is a very very promising player and I predict he will be one of our key players going forwards.

Did very well for a 19 year old playing his first international in a weird situation of a game where they had 'kind of' been told not to win, if you know what I mean.

Strange circumstances but certainly didn't look out of place.

Looks like he could do with a break, has started poorly this season and having played loads of games last season and then the WC with England, he is still only 19 and we don't want to burn him out.

Agreed, love him but I think he needs a rest too. Too many times caught out of position, his crosses haven't been anything like we are used to and it seems oppo teams keep going down his side when attacking.

In a strange way I think the International break is a good bit of rest for him. The National team training won’t have the intensity of ours, and he is likely to only play the 1 game, if that, probably more like just 45mins.

His occasional lapses of concentration during a game cost us today although to be fair Robertson was also not at his best today.

Manc mate sent me this earlier.

If legit then i'm pretty sure theres a middle part to the story thats gone missing somewhere down the line.

If not young Trent needs to 1) not be a dick to our fans and 2) learn the art of stepping through the gears rather than going from naught to nuclear!

There's also a decent chance the whole thing is bollocks tbf!
