How did TAA not make the top 20 Golden Boy nominees ???  He played a crucial role in helping LFC win #6, was part of the best defense in the Prem last season, scored a couple nasty free kick goals, and set a Prem record for most assists by a defender in a season.  He should have been included for "that corner" alone!!  What a F***ing joke....

Said it once, i'll say it again. If Trent REALLY wants to be the best in the world at what he does, he needs to improve defensively.
Yes I know it's hard as he's usually forward putting pressure on the other team but in situations when he is back and defending 1 on 1, I get nervous at how easy it is to get a yard away from him to play a pass or a cross.

Can't argue with that, said it for a while he needs to improve defensively.

I think so far this season he has improved significantly over last. Need to see it over a season I understand, but to me there have been positive signs. Hopefully this illness is short-lived and he's back Sunday vs. Spurs.

Not from what I've seen in the ground, he needs to improve, he was F***ing awful on Sunday.

The only thing he does well is going forward and his crossing. His actual defensive game is still not good enough.

Yeah thought he was particularly bad against United. In games he has to defend more than attack he has struggled and is most likely the reason who Gomez started RB a few times over him. However gomez drop in form recently meant he had to pick TAA and he struggled again

Most right backs in the world can't get a highlights compilation like this over a whole season. This is Trent's delivery on a single game. Absolutely ridiculous

Even midfielder or strikers would be jealous of that.

He needs to improve his defensive positioning but he almost a finished article at the age of 20.

To be honest the entire defence do, they are all getting caught out with this high line.

Best performance of the season for him long it may continue. Still room for improvement defensively but second to none in the world when it comes to attacking returns from that position.

He is stunning player and Klopp always trys to protect him with a back up player taking his place.

Feel like we could copy and paste this comment into some kind of algorithm, swap the names and just keep posting this forever. He pulls these passes off multiple times, game after game, and it's become so normal for all of us watching. Wonder what his assist of assists count is?  :D

Maybe the best single pass of the night, and that on a night when Sadio had two great passes for assists and Dejan hit a great long pass through the center for Divock. Trent is such an important part of this group's success.

Hope they don't have a bet over stamps like they did last season with assists.

Trent,Robbo, Virgil and Dejan all made some stunning long range passes on Weds. It must be quite something for the forwards to know that every player in this team will find a pass all they have to do is make the run.
