I think we all know how much this meant to Trent, he was so delighted to get the call after thinking he was out of contention! I really feel for him, he must be gutted. We may be glad, because he can focus on Liverpool, but the lad is obviously distraught, it will take time to get over the disappointment, let’s hope England flop, again, for Trent’s sake!

Look forward to seeing Trent fit and refreshed for the new season, playing for his club, which must take priority over country every time !

Shame for Trent, but probably good news for us. If he's going to pick up a wear and tear type injury, I'd rather he does it at the start of the summer rather than during the season. On top of that, he needs a rest and now he will actually get one this summer. Selfish I know, but can't pretend I'm too unhappy about it.

Be back for the start of the season then. Gutted for Trent but hes played so many games this season something was bound to happen so at least it wasn't in our time.

Robbocop Robbo must surely be a ticking time bomb heading to play a minimum of 3 full throttle games for Scotland.
