I would say bench him but our only other RB is injured and Gomez is just about as sh*t as him in terms of holding a high line this season. At this point, just get someone from the U-21 for a few games, at least he'll run back once he's played the other team onside.

Got hooked one game and was livid.  Wonder if some breakdown somewhere in changing room a few relationships gone South ?

Not seen the video so can't comment but if he's getting upset and sulking at being hooked from one of our earlier matches because of a poor performance then he needs to grow the F**k up.

Aye. Or, if he's got the stomach for it, even try watching his own performances this season.

Absolutely F***ing criminal that we have no one to replace him with. He can walk in to the team no matter the last performance.

His defending for goal two and three tonight is enough to make him go train with the kids

Been saying for ages that our lack of real competition at RB is the biggest weak point in our squad. Trent feels he is undroppable (which appears to be the case after he wasn't hooked tonight. I know Ramsay is injured right enough, but is he really experienced enough to put in if Trent is on one of  his defensive holidays even if he was fit?)

To be a bit more analytical about it, I will say I think Robbie Fowler was a bit harsh on Trent's slow tracking back for their 2nd goal. I think it was ok - he got back in the right position in time, even if he could have done it a bit quicker. i agree with Owen that it was more Fabinho's fault than Trnet or Gomez. But Trent's defending for their 3rd was an absolute joke. It's bad enough being that complacent at 0-0 (which he was). But at 2-0 down and backs against the wall, it is just not acceptable to let your man beat you and then not bother chasing after him.

There are reports that Ramsay is back in training. With Matip back, Gomez can probably play at RB too.

Anyone but Trent. He deserves to be dropped!

Ramsey is just a kid and I know nothing about him at all in terms of how good he is/could be, never even heard of him until we signed him. But, Trent became first choice for us at 18 due to a mixture of injuries and poor performances from Clyne so I'm not going to rule out Ramsey having the ability to do the same to Trent.

The thing is the Prem is the most elite league in the world. The kid might be good in Scotland but is he ready to dislodge Trent?

Can't say I know much about Ramsey but what about firing him in at right back and pushing Trent up to midfield?

Something has to change anyway and I'm sure Klopp and his team will have it sorted before too long.

It will be nice when ramsey is available to at least give him 15-20 mins in some games.

Reality is, we might see milner start at RB at weekend.

Or klopp could be very hard nosed and put same defence out to sort themselves out, play thru the pain sort of thing.

I really feel this lad needs dropping.

He is just not switched on enough when it comes to his defensive game and its one thing not being at it positionally but to not have the heart or desire to track back for your time is just tough to watch, whoever is alongside him at the back must get so frustrated seeing that.

The issue is right now we don't have anyone that can really slot in and make him work to get his place back, Milner should not be anywhere near our starting 11, Gomez just had one of his worst games for us, so not sure that would do him much good.

Trent, please just put a shift in and show you want to defend.

I think he can challenge him as quickly as Trent did Clyne.

He has real quality. Delivery as good as a young TAA.

I'd rather we got him from a season in Scotland than a season in the ressies.

He'll at least be battle hardened....anyway the point isn't about binning TAA.....its about creating competition and giving him someone to spell him when struggling first.....

Of course individual player, almost everyone were not in good form so far this season. But wierd things are there I think all of us can notice of. And the last game vs Napoli this even more clear. This is absolutely not the team we known since JK take in charge at the club. Something seriously happen behind this team and until the team eliminate of that thing we may not see our beloved Klopp football at Liverpool FC again.

Drop this man immediately. Doesn't deserve to play anywhere in the starting eleven - even in midfield.

An injured Ramsay would be better.

Trent is appalling right now and couldn't care less. See him watching Utd score goals and not even flinch. Is he a scouser?
