I believe we're more than capable of a good win mate.  I'd love us to smash them to a cricket score as I'm sick to death of doom and gloom and negativity about the squad from our own fans but also how casually every other fuckers set of fans are writing us off.

3 points is essential and really all that matters but I'd love us to put a marker down and stick 2 fingers up to the rest of them even though normally I couldn't give a sh*t what anyone else thinks.

Will be interesting how the lads respond to the worst PL humiliation in our history.
From all the pre season games played looks like Lovren will partner Skrtel, which doesn't really fill me with confidence.
Benteke and Firmino look like they are not fit enough for the full 90 so hopefully we grab a couple of goals before the big man is substituted.

Shame I will miss the first the first game of the season as I doubt there will be much reception in Yosemite national park.
Can't really make a prediction its a toss of a coin due to last season.

From reports, the two new fullbacks are doing well, and both look like starting.
Just about Lovren ahead of Sahko (just) as he's generally good in the air and we should be tested there.
Given first game, it's away, and against Stoke, would play Can with Milner and Hendo, with the latter two able to get forward when get opportunity.
Ibe seemingly has had a great preseason, so go with form and start him, and Cou is a must start (hope not over reliant on him to create this season). Firmino don't think will start, not away to Stoke anyway, needs more time.
Benteke has to start.
Start solid and depending on how things pan out maybe opt for Lallana later if Ibe or Can ain't working out.

Ings and Origi ... only time will tell whether either or both will hit the ground running. Could do with the goals.

A lot riding on Benteke. Great strike in the preseason. Hopefully a sign of things to come ...

I  can't  wait for this   one. We  have to make this away game  to  Stoke an easy one .I hate it when people say  is  difficult to   
play  Stoke   away.

Forget revenge for last season, just concentrate on getting 3 points and our season under way, win pretty, win ugly, couldn't give a F**k, lets just have 3 points and get focused on the next match.

I havn't seen a minute of pre season so can't wait to see the lads on Sunday and while I think it'll be a tough game I do think we will win this one and by more than the odd goal.

I'd personally rather Sakho but I'm 100% srslfc is right with this team

I see that Shawcross won't be fit for them which is a good bit of news, same applies to Anuartovic who is their most skilful player

Can & coutinho not match fit yet, so unlikley they will start, and very unlikely BR will not start the club captain 1st game of the season.

Adding to that, the loss of Begovic & Nzonzi. We really should be beating them tbh.

Feel only a decent win, by two or three goals, will make up for the humiliating defeat suffered, at the end of last season.

Smash em 4-0 and to shove it back down their pie eating throats. There a crap side with good fans we need to destroy them, yes there now attempting to start playing football and not rugby but they will take time so we should take advantage and go all out attack from the off and smash them by as many goals as we can get.

All last seasons players should be fired up for this one and I demand a BIG performance from Henderson leading the team not shying away getting stuck in from the off.

As for your wee shitty club, don't be surprised to hear we hate you lot, especially after our last encounter bar stewards,
