Midfield getting dominated a little, not surprising with just 2 in there and the support isn't coming for Benteke who has been isolated.

Lallana and Coutinho need to be doing plenty more.

would love to see our midfielders make can-esque run. to open up some space for others. stoke are postioning themself good

Can't really afford to. If either of Hendo or Milner push then we get picked off.

Not a fan of this set up.

Unless they hit the back of the net.

Listening to BBC Radio 5 Live, how are the full backs of Gomez and Clyne doing? From my impression, the young Englishmen seem pretty solid.

They are doing well defensively, haven't offered much going forward tho. But to be fair none of our players have.

Need two forwards. Benteke is left on his own - doing nothing much.  He needs support.

Need Firmino up top with Coutinho behind and Can slotting in to midfield.

We need to scrap this 4-2-3-1 winger formation.

Think he's had some time off because of the birth of his daughter but he has travelled with the team.

Need Ibe, Coutinho, and Lallana to do much better. Midfield has been fine I think but those three just aren't doing enough to link defense to attack

No improvement whatsoever so far from last season, regarding flow of play, pretty dull, unispiring football played by our team. Long-balls ? What the hell. Bring on Firmino.

lacking some serious power upfront get Lallana off and Ings on and play with two strikers.

We look more likely out of the two sides to pick out that piece of play that will bring about a goal. It's a solid performance so far although I do harbour concerns about Henderson's role here. Deep lying midfielder but offering very little of what a deep lying midfielder should do there. There still seems to be a bit of a gap between midfield and defence here that opposition players could exploit.

we got to do something to try to open them up. as things are now, they are in comfort zone. a surprise run, will make things harder for them. its a risk we have to take imo

I don't like  solo striker tactics, however, Benteke is the exact type of player that can do that. So I'm ok with it.
