      Goal was offside - Coutinho was clearly affecting play as he stretched for the ball and made the keeper set himself.

      When a player who has no input or direct contribution in scoring a goal is put up as a reason for that goal being disallowed,  there will always be controversy.

      Why? The new rules are clear on this issue.  No conspiracy, no doubt, no controversy.  Ref made a mistake, that happens, we benefited.

      Why is there a discussion about this I have no idea.

      We won, end of.

      Sorry but F**k off with your "it was offside as the rules have changed" sh*t

      Remember that goal against City which was called offside, cost us dearly.

      Video -> https://coub.com/view/7ekj

      That goal was clearly onside, and people are debating whether Benteke's should have stood, take a long hard look at yourselves, and ask, what do I want?

      A Liverpool win, or everything Disney?

      Good point about the City goal disallowed a couple of years back.

      The media can shove it up their arse as far as I'm concerned! What goes around comes around - but hey, when we get the rub of the green everyone flips their F***ing lid off.

      That disallowed Sterling goal didn't cost us anything. It was 0-0 at the time and Coutinho scored a few minutes later to make it 1-0 to us. We simply blew it, end of.

      The only reason it's being highlighted is because it was us who got the goal. If it was the Mancs, Arsenal or the Chavs then you wouldn't be hearing a peep about it.

      Your logic is flawed.

      If it did stand who knows what would have happened.

      Your logic is equally flawed! There's no guarantee Sterling's goal leads to a win. Likewise, there's no guarantee Sterling's goal doesn't lead to City storming back to put 5 or 6 passed Mignolet.

      And I would never ever reference a film franchise in which the Chicago Cubs win the World Series! ;D
