my last match before going back to Luxembourg, I'm off to my life long buddy's to watch the game, been mates since we we're 5 and I was 54 on Saturday, both from Barnsley and red through and through!

Carra and Neville are in a different league when it comes to analysis when compared with Henry. He's just all style and no substance, listening to how he described his movement patterns for Barca was lacking any real substance when he clearly lived it and knew it but couldn't articulate it into anything meaningful.

Neville is completely right, Arsenal should have replaced Viera better and it's the same worry I have had for a long time with Gerrard, even when Gerrard himself was here. Once his legs went he should have been immediately replaced as priority, we could always fit him in here or there but that central area demands that one player who absolutely dominates his opposite number and while I like the signing I don't think Milner is going to prove good enough.

Tonight though the opportunity is there for both sides, weaknesses and lack of fitness obvious, will be an absolutely fascinating game. Brendan with one of the best opportunities to improve his W1 D2 L5 top 4 record, come on lads!

Looks like we are going to try and nullify them, be strong defensively and play on the counter. That is fine by me but my only concern is our lack of pace in the counter. Can't say I am experiencing confidence that we will do it and I would bite a hand off for the draw right now if it was offered. Really encouraged by the lack of their two best centre-halves though, that is definitely something we can work from. Fancy us to get a goal from a corner if coutinho can get his delivery right tonight.

Only just clocked on that it'll be Milner's first game as captain.

Bit concerned with Can & Lucas and whether we'll have the legs in midfield to close them down. And Firmino will need to work a lot harder than last time to tackle guys and not giveaway the ball as easily - I might have stuck Moreno on instead of him for the first half at least ... but positive I guess choice from BR.
Both CBs out for Arse! - so there IS an opportunity there for Benteke to bully the standins. It must unsettle their back 4, so Cou/Benteke/Firmino need to really get amongst them, expose any rust.
Both sides have had to make changes, so can see weaknesses on both sides. Should be interesting

Henry just comes across as looking a bit clueless when put up against Carra and Neville, and like you say, when talking about Barca you're just wanting him to go into a few specifics but it's all very generic.

Very unsure about this game.

Just can't make my mind up whether to go with the flow and scapegoat Lovren if we lose, or go for Lucas or Can as the easier targets. Think I may have to resort to hoping we win so I don't have to make such a difficult choice.

I think our midfield may struggle to match the pace of Arsenal's but with our injuries I don't think Brendan had many options.

Why is Henry on tonight? I usually enjoy Carra and Neville's analysis and tactic discussions but all I've heard tonight is Henry chatting on with himself. It made me laugh when Carra said he wishes Neville would get Firmino's name right
