I'd sooner name Tex in this squad and leave Phil at home.

I'm interested to see if the manager really meant he'll play a different side in this as the more time moves in I think we'll see a few more of our best players than we'd like playing in these games especially away from home.

That is a dreadful statistic, even with the edit:

They will be closing the Acadamy down next as it's not producing the goods.

I do not know what has become of this club/franchise.

Given Brendan's track record I'm not sure it is good.

If we take it seriously and win it, or even get to the final, all well and good.

But if we piss about and use players that should be rested for the league games and then also lose points there then it will be the same old story for us where EL has been concerned.

We're not going to win it using our second string though so there are obviously going to be quite a few times when our first team is used with two or three tweaks.

Got to name a strong squad for the ticket sales

So, when does Tex play? The guy is 100% better than Joseph 'Welsh Javi' Allen and he can't even get in the Europa squad? Brendan Rodgers has lot to answer for. He is wasting a really good player in Texeira.

Maybe it's me, but I don't know why there has to be a squad named for this. What happens the squad if there's lots of injuries/suspensions? We should be able to play whoever we want on any given day.
