Just got that regen i sold to Stoke back on loan (from Arsenal) and it's the happiest i've ever been playing FM :lmao: Scored on his first game back too!

Sounds like a bit of a transfer merry go round!

I've just finished the Jan transfer window in my 2nd season with Leeds. We're fifth, having lost to Chelsea and Arsenal we won 6 on the bounce and have stayed with the leading pack. Reckon I could squeek a European place.

Survived the board takeover, and got 35m to spend in January. Got Wilshere for £9.5m, Rodrigo for 3.4m and Lallana for 5m (possibly up to 13m with add ons). Also got Andreas Christensen off Chelsea for about 9.5, probably the first player I've overpaid for.

This is what the team looks like atm, with their roles.

      Etrit Berisha
      Sam Byram (FB CWB)
      Subotic (CD)
      Christensen (CD)
      Charlie Taylor (FB CWB)
      Lewis Cook (CDM DLP)
      Moussa Dembele (CM AP)
      Wilshere (CM AP)
      Zivkovic (RM WP)
      Lallana (LM WP)
      Walter (ST CMF)

Not bad for halfway through the second season!

Byram is top of the assists with 11, Zivkovic avg rating is about 8.5 and Walter is still third top scorer despite being out for a month or so atm.

Permanent deal!!! I'm stupidly delighted :D £32.5m and he's back at the club for good. Get in! Got 8 in 5 starts and 2 sub appearances since returning.

These are the fun moments in saves like that with Leeds. Especially when you don't get promoted and relegated for 4 straight seasons like i did :lmao:

That is one tasty attacking line up.

Sounds like they did a Leeds! :D I'm hoping to avoid the same fate (I'll take the CL qualification though!!)

Premier League champions!!!!! Get in there.

Dumped out of each cup early on. Made the first knockouts in the CL but got smacked 5-1 by Monaco.

      But we won!!! Lovely!

I've been trying to get into it this year but just can't. Finding I dominate every game and then just concede and draw towards the end. Other teams seem to score with every shot on target.

Bought him as a 17 year old from Bayern for £20m. Hasn't scored at a crazy rate but hope he can kick on!

Congrats on the double crouchie! That kid looks quite the player!

Still stuck on my third season with Leeds been slow going past few weeks, unlike you with your futuristic footballing landscape where Swindon are top of the European pile ;D

Picked up FM 2016 earlier this week, 5 years after getting my last FM edition. Broadly similar but I need advice - who should I start a career with and who are the best coaching and young footballing prospects on this edition?

Depending on who you are and who you can attract:

      Andrija Zivkovic
      Geronimo Rulli (GK)
      Richairo Zivkovic
      Emmanuel Mammana
      Gabriel Barbosa
      Thiago Maia
      Youri Tielemens
      Rubén Neves
      Domenico Berardi

The list goes on and on. Google "FM 2016 wonder kids" and you'll have hundreds to see.

Now i'm on 8 wins and 2 draws from 10 games in the league (conceded 2 goals) and just hammered the Mancs 3-0 ;D

3 from 3 in the UCL too without conceding.

Going to try and win it all this season despite losing the Charity Shield to City. Won the Super Cup against Liverpool to get my first trophy of the season. Haven't given the Cups a fair crack yet but i have the squad to win it without sacrificing my chances in the league and UCL.

Just to comment on Crouchie's good list here, Andrija Zivkovic is available on a free after the first season and is an absolute steal. Instantly ready for the top league's and only gets better and better. Got him free with my Leeds team and he's one of our best players and valued at over 30m now.

Choosing who to start with is down to your own preference. Essentially do you want to start at a big club, big budget with good first teamers and good quality youth, or do you want to start down the league/s a bit. I always tend to go for lower league clubs, usually Championship or League 1, but try and find one with some decent youngsters and ok training/youth facilities. This year I went for Leeds as they've got a good stadium, good youth and training facilities, and some excellent prospects on the books from the start.

There's a lot of my go to players in that list!

Predrag Rajkovic, Malcom, Dele Alli and Bernardo Silva too. One player who I think is really underrated on the game is Haidara for Newcastle. Always guaranteed to get a 7-7.5* performance from him every week.

      What year you in mate?

Does anybody have a really good skin that they use that isn't one of the originals? I've been looking at different skins and trying to change a few fonts and stuff over the past couple of days and I had to delete a few as they were causing crash dumps :D I know not to try and F**k about with editing skins in future!

      2034/35 I think.

Started a Villa save. Just for one season to see if I can keep them up. Awful team.

Signed some good players like Callum Wilson, Kanneman, Guilherme and Craig Noone and got two wins and 3 losses (Chelsea, Mancs and Liverpool).
