Actually, not a bad line up at all. Just make sure these lads put on a proper Liverpool performance. Play hard from the start, first to every ball, hard tackles, and tracking back when needed. Plus some nice, crisp passing and plenty of speed in the attack!

Away win. COME ON YOU REDS!! 😁

Said in the pre match thread that we'll do these easily and I'm sticking with it. Just got a good feeling about this (which is rare!).

Personally think it's a ploy to try and get him to sign a new contract. I see Pearce of the Echo stating that only a run in the team will do that, so it doesn't seem that convincing a ploy.

I think we'll win tonight Bordeaux are without 4 of their best players by all accounts and they've been struggling badly. As much as a win we need a performance.

If nothing else it will be nice to see some of the other lads, I'd say they might have a chance of winning a first team place against Norwich but Brendan probably has that team picked already.

Like he did after the Madrid game mate, I think we will see the usual suspects against Norwich. I think Moreno has a good chance if he plays well but apart from him I can't see many changes being made. (I think Gomez may be being slowly edged out)

Need a decent performance and a win of any kind tonight to give us some confidence for Sunday, how times have changed eh, would never have said that a good few years ago...  :(
Gone for a draw in the prediction league but praying for a win, be interesting to see how Origi copes on his own up front.

Should be starting Firmino. If he's lacking match sharpness then this is without doubt when you want him playing IMO. Looks as though we will be continuing with the 433...Silly really seeing as we have 4 strikers and 2 of which are both players you will want playing. Shocked Ings isn't starting but good to see Origi finally given bit of a chance.

I'm trying to feel optimistic about the game but I'm finding it hard to be.

      Not good enough? Disrespectful?

Not strong enough should we need to change etc, end of the day Brendan needs to take this competition seriously, not just for the fact it's a trophy to be won, but for the European co-efficient.

Gomez on the right, well although out of position again, at least he wont be worrying about the possibility of using his left foot.

Or a 352 with Ibe and Moreno as the wing backs.

Yup, I think you are correct but actually 3-4-3 more like.

Brendan Rodgers has gone back to the formation that worked last year after a loss to the Scum. It seems he is probably trying it here again.

We shall see if we are right in that. Hope it is not 1 up front - that's all. It hasn't worked and it will not.

Same old sh*t, British media always backing their own (understandable) and putting the majority of blame on players.

I don't listen to any of his interviews any more mate, he just pisses me off, haven't for a long time, since I came to the conclusion he's full of sh*t, but then I don't have to like his personality or the bollocks he spouts to support him and the team.
