Very impressed with Sakho, Ings and Moreno. Milner is a liability, he offers nothing going forward and defence. Can we stop takling in drop outs from chelski and City?

Now don't tell me I am nostalgic here but
How  much we miss Gerrard simply for his motivating the others
No one seems to take responsabilty to do that
we just have NO real leaders in the squad

its getting the normality now we score and than wait for the opponents to come back at us and there ...we concede
seems we are back to the Woy days

Don't think we miss him at all to be honest.

agree with you on the playing side,
I was referring to that we don't have any leaders in the team which I think its important IMO

Disappointing result but I feel there were more positives from this result than the United one. We didn't play that badly and always looked a threat going forward. We passed the ball well with a crispness that's not been there since our run of wins came to an end last season. It certainly wasn't the turgid football we've seen of late. Ings partnered with Sturridge looks far more effective than Benteke and Firmino probably played his best game for us during his cameo appearance. The defence is what it is by now and we all know it's hopeless but definitely something to build on today, I felt. Oh and we're a point ahead of the Chavs and no one expects them to stay were they are, why should we be any different? Plus we're only four points off a top four place. There are no guaranteed points in this league.

      1-1. Argh.
Didn't see the game, so can't comment.
2 poor points to drop though.

Norwich are a good side, but this time last year Alex Neil was managing tiny Hamilton while Norwich were languishing mid-table in the Championship.

This time last year, we were doing exactly the same thing today.

One club shows how progress should be made, the other one is just pissing around now.

      Bullshit.

Not Rodgers fault he played 3 at the back and STILL conceded is it?

We are woeful and that's entirely Rodgers fault.

Sorry fella but Rodgers got it right today! Some people are just too desperate to blame Brendan on everything, but today he did what needed done, Sakho and Moreno on, 2 up top, Lovren dropped, Positive subs!
We should have made more of our attacks, and Migs is a liability at times, that's why we didn't win.

Mignolet - Awful punch out, distribution still poor, one outstanding stop saved this from being a four - 5

Clyne - Yet another assured performance, it's almost to be expected - 7

Moreno - Great performance and certainly something he can build on - 7

Skrtel - Solid and dependable today, spent far too much time wrestling rather than defending at set pieces though - 7

Sakho - One horrendous moment, though he wasn't the only one to lose his footing in that area - 7 (just)

Can - Patchy but you can see the player in there - 6

Lucas - You know you have issues when he's your best midfielder, defending and attacking, not his fault though - 7

Milner - Started slowly and improved during the first half, as it went on.  Awful in the second half - 5

Coutinho - Some nice moments, needs to remember it's a team game - 6

      Benteke - Fairly anonymous - 5

Sturridge - To me, he didn't look ready to start, the minutes will help though - 5

Ings - Tried to make things happen, worked the Norwich back line well, took his goal well - 6

Lallana - Few nice moments, but turned into trouble when other options were on - 5

Firmino - You can see the player in him, just not on the same wavelength as his team mates yet - 5

Gotta say I can't fault Rodgers today. The tactics were good and we created plenty of chances. Coutinho, Ings, and Sturridge didn't take the clear cut chances we had otherwise we score 3 or 4 goals

I get what you're saying but there comes a time when no excuses count and today was that day - and the result is no more encouragement considering our impotency in front of goal these past months.

It's all very very sad. We are going nowhere, the owners don't seem to have some credible strategy, our laughable transfer committee is headed up by Sunday league Neanderthals, while Brendan seems to have run out of ideas.

I like Brendan I really do, but it has been a year since that Aston Villa home match which signalled our woes and which have continued with no signs of it abating. There is no end in sight, and after a year, well there can be no excuses from the management.

But if Brendan goes, many many more have to follow him out the door. That shower of sh*te in the transfer committee need to be shot off.

Moreno and Sakho were the only players today deserving of anything more than a 6.

I can blame him for that jarg keeper we've got. Norwich keeper would be an upgrade.

Thank God I'm not at Anfield for a month.

That's very harsh on Skrtel & Lucas, maybe more understandable with Clyne, though I thought is issues were more to do with the lack of support from Milner and, at times, Can.

He's had one good game.  One.

Versus countless wretched games last season.

Let's see if he can string a couple together before we pull out the superlatives.

I agree totally. I don't think he said to Mignolet to pussy a ball or for Coutinho to rather shot his ass off, he went with a little power as possible. Rodgers was taking risks and knew what he was doing. I'm one who thinks that today he did everything right. Bogdan shows Simon how it's done next Wednesday.

Not the worst performance. Terrible result. The worst thing for me is that it doesn't even hurt anymore. It's just expected now. I watch the game, shake my head in disapproval, then just get on with my life. It wasn't Rodgers' fault today at all, but I'll be delighted when he's sacked.
