Lallana looking good in his preferred position, Allen also with some encouraging signs, Ings is absolutely tireless that's the end of the positives though.

Ibe, should have been moved from that position already, he should never have started in it and if he comes out in the second half and continues to play in it I think it actually reflects on Brendan's value on this tournament. Even Stevie Wonder could tell you he doesn't belong there and shouldn't be playing there.

Origi, seems to need a long time to do things, must improve his speed on the ball and reaction time. Migs, absolutely shocking, I'd be happy to drop him for Bogdan right now. Gomez must improve.

What about starting to take European competitions seriously, Brendan? I'm not even watching the game, but seeing the lineup it was a certainty this would be a struggle - to win but even more so to watch.

So who did you want Sturridge, Coutinho along with a healing Benteke & Henderson to face off agains the mighty Sion?

Our starting line-up including all the kids is probably worth more than they're entire team.

If we can't play some kids and rest some of our PL starting XI against this bunch we might as well just move ourselves down to the Championship

Then he's succeeded, wonder if we can fleece £50m from City next summer.

Ha, he thinks so.. Sterling thinks so..  :f_doh:

Just wish we'd go at them like the Sunday pub team they are. ATTACK them FFS!!

They are showing us up, at our own ground. Not with fancy skills, but with a bit of passion and graft. That goes a long way. From the no.1 ranked team in Europe under Rafa, to the team that NO-ONE fears. We've become the laughing stock, the brunt of the joke. How embarrassing...

It's difficult to think of a former Red who is more disliked than Owen.

One of the strangest players in our history for me mate, even when he was banging them in I just never warmed to him how you would expect to for such a prodigious talent.

He's the type of guy you'd just as soon punch as look at, there's no doubt about that.

I think Allen has been good, Lalanna also. Its sad when I think back to big games like juve and barca thinking " we could nick this " . now we can't keep a clean sheet against a team that I never ever heard of and have had 18 managers in 4 seasons!!! I dont know what the problem is . this team is capable of so much more. We play 3 at the back but then i look and Can is attacking headers....wtf! Sad is all I can say really tbh.

Here's our problem. This has been our problem for going on 2 years now. Make of it what you will.

We solve this, we solve our attacking issues. It's that simple.

It's about playing teams capable of winning games. I'm not against rotation but time and time again Rodgers has failed to properly rotate his team, part of the reason why he's been such a F***ing joke in Europe and why we needed penalties against the worst defense in the Football League.

You speak derisively of "mighty Sion" - and still it's 1-1 at Anfield. We must be showing a lot of characther though!

Surprising considering what he's achieved, more than Gerrard apparently.

Teixeria would've been great playing in the #10 role tonight, would've given us some life in the middle. Also, can't believe how bad we are!!! More shocking, I can't believe how poor Sion has been.

Btw, Clint made a mistake and I want my +1 back, we're not playing at home, it's away as all I can hear are the Sion fans.

No one supporting anyone usually and that empty midfield made me blink like it always does.

Best I've seen Lallana play for us,Rossiter reminds me of Gerrard when he started out, If he is half as good he'll be a great player for us...
The game, would be happier if we fielded a stronger side, we should field our strongest side until we know that we have qualified.... Sion no push over though.... Need the win to put distance between third team.
Allen look shaky...Origi need to be sharper on the ball...Ibe need to be more decisive
