Ah. The good old negative Karma days.

Who was that other guy who racked up loads.

Samcharles wasn't it? Fond of commas.

Hollywood has nothing on those guys. Hollywood make some good points on here and has started some good topics agree or disagree.

Samcharles just posted gibberish. Look him up mate if you still can.

Based on success then it has to be:

      1) Benitez
      2) Houllier
      3) King Kenny
      4= Hodgson and Brendan

However, based upon highest league position, it would be:

      1) Benitez, Houllier, Rodgers
      2) Kenny
      5) Hodge

Depends on how you look at it really.

I'm assuming this relates to the past 15 years only.

And it's a results and trophies business for me so fairly easy.

      1. Benitez
      2. Houllier
      3. Dalglish
      4. Rodgers
      5. Hodgson

      Ditto.

True enough mate, I guess I put my favs in alongside the most successful,  it's hard not to include those who had us playing sublime football,  "The Liverpool Way"

Not many had put Shanks in at all, which I found very surprising?

Didn't realise he was an option mate.

      Revised list :-

      1 - Paisley
      2 - Shankly
      3 - Kenny
4 - Fagin (just for the treble)
5 - Houllier and Rafa (just can't seem to separate them)

And climbing fast Jürgen Klopp :)

Shankly would always be the top of my list irrespective of all other managers. He put Liverpool back on the map.

But enjoyed less success than Paisley. Shanks may have started the revolution but Bob took it to a whole new level. If we're talking from all time, he'd get my vote.

      out of those 5

As manager Rafa Kenny GH BR            Roy.

Kenny is the greatest but he managed in our hey day. When he came back he was out of the game for a while and came back to avoid Roy. What nearly snuck it for me was Blackburn and his results there because he spent money but he won the EPL. I just think Rafa created something wonderful of largely his own bat. He collected Alonso, Masch, Reina, etc and beat the best in Europe. Much like Klopp is now. In fact the only difference between Rafa and Kenny as managers for  me is the value I attach to what Rafa did because we were suddenly top of Europe and it was fantastic. Much like what Klopp did at Dortmund (YYEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRR RRRRRRRRRSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS)
