just chatting to God as we speak

      Speaking of which...

Liverpool great Robbie Fowler has said that he wants to part of Jürgen Klopp's backrom staff when the German takes charge at Anfield.

It is expected that the former Borussia Dortmund manager Klopp will be unveiled at Liverpool on Friday, signing a three-yeat deal.

Fowler, who scored 184 goals for the Reds in two spells at Liverpool, is currently an official ambassador for the club. His only previous managerial experience came in Thailand.

"I'd be lying if I said I wasn't interested if a new manager comes in and I'd love to be on the backroom staff," Fowler said.

"Liverpool's a massive part of my life. If that was to be the case than I'd absolutely love that."

On Klopp, Fowler said: "My personal opinion is he's a very good manager. I don't know him as a man, I've never met him. Looking at him from an outsider I was impressed with his performances over Germany for Dortmund. That's all it is.

We should have made this change as our first change in the summer. A manager like Klopp will attract big big names.. not that many big transfers happen in the winter though.

If he pulls out three envelopes ... I may start to panic :)

I'd laugh my ass off if he came in and said the players had great character.

I could handle that, it was all the F***ing 'Par' crap and pointing the finger of blame when results didn't go his way and taking all the plaudits when they did that done my tits in.

Klopp's a dog man. Fantastic - that means he's a proper human being.

There was a brilliant video of him twitter, he was on a swing in the back garden with a basket ball and he was swinging and swinging then he jumped off mid swing and slammed the basket ball into a hoop then ran over to the kids and started laughing and doing a funny little dance.

That moment right there if I'd have had any doubts about him would have been erased in an instant, but I have none, happy as F**k if truth be told.

How amazing it is to be an LFC fan again, I actually can't remember the last time I was this excited about the club.

I kinda was with Rafa but I hadn't really been following the footy that closely since Hillsborough so even then it took a while to get on the bandwagon again.

This though is truly inspirational.  It actually feels like someone high up has realised that to be the best, we need the best and gone and got the best.

Can't wait for the rest of the season.
