This all day, the hysteria and ferocity of reaction has been getting steadily worse in this place. It's always been like that in the match thread which is fine, it's a good place to vent in-game frustrations but it permeates virtually every thread now. We drew with the Champions yesterday but you'd think we'd lost at home to Brighton.

We're in 5th place today a point away from 4th placed Spurs albeit either Arsenal or Burnley could jump above us today. Draw our final Champions League group game and we're in to the last 16, win it and we're group winners. That'll be the first time in 9 years we've been in the knockout stages of the champions league. So for me, we're doing ok. Or at least our current situation doesn't tally up with the doom, gloom and finger pointing I'm reading in here every week.

Well one might argue that with those players on the pitch earlier, a fluke or lack of awareness wouldn't have mattered if we'd have added another goal or two...or at least controlled the game better.
