Not only he´s influencing the players but also he´s electrifying everybody around him, players as well as staff, supporters, press, just everybody.

It´s a pity he can´t express himself in english as well as in german for he´s able to fascinate so much with his language finding almost any time the proper words to describe all matters of football and create deep emotions with his audience.

Seems though he´s capable to do so even with his (not too much) limited english and could do so in any other language as well. This man has such a charisma he would probably win everybody without saying one word at all. :-)

I´ve been his victim and succumbed to him since his first presser in Dortmund. :-)

It's a pity my German is poor but doesn't "klopp" mean "silverware"?  ;)

Klopp bans Liverpool players from discussing Europa League final

"We have three very important Premier League games and that has to be where our focus is."

Jürgen Klopp has banned talk of the Europa League final in the Liverpool dressing room ahead of Sunday's clash with Watford at Anfield.

The Reds' season hinges on their crunch showdown with Sevilla in Basel on May 18.

However, before then Liverpool have three Premier League matches to play and Klopp has demanded that they finish their domestic duties on a high.

The eighth placed Reds could still leapfrog Southampton and West Ham and clinch a top-six finish.

"It is absolutely not allowed to think of only the Europa League final between now and the 18th of May,” Klopp wrote in his programme notes for the visit of Watford.

“Starting today, we have three very important Premier League games and that has to be where our focus is.

“The line-ups may vary and change in these remaining games, but this isn’t because we think of the final; this is because we need to use our squad and use our players in a responsible way, for the needs of each and every game.

“So today our cup final is Watford here at Anfield. We will treat this with the same importance as any game we have played previously and any game we play subsequently, because it is our next game.

“This is the only attitude that will be allowed at Melwood and in our dressing room.”

A winger like Pierre Littbarski would be fine for our team now. He played in the eighties when our squad overflowed with talent, but today his class would well fit in i reckon.

Manager wise i would put JK somewhere near Udo Lattek, proper dicipline instiller, reformer, having his international top level stint as well.

      Correct me if I'm wrong.

If they try to imitate Blatter they are likely to get arrested.

this is why Uefa hate it when we get to a final because we don't accept their method of ignoring fans and supplying their cronies with tickets. Uefa will do well to accept the fact that far more than 10,000 will go it will probably be closer to 30,000-40,000 and by hook or by crook a lot of them will get a ticket.
They are aware of what is coming in 10 days time if they chose to not do something about it then anything that happens is on their heads. Why don't they just put in a huge fan park with big screens and have a party that would be a great idea.

Wonder if Uefa will tell Jürgen off fot suggesting fans go to the final and enjoy the atmosphere. Uefa saying fans should not travel without a ticket now when did Uefa get to decide how and where our citizens and fans travel to.
they fu**ed up again and they will be shitting themselves a 34000 stadium is just a joke. they are going to have to put on a good sized fan zone with big screens.

someone must have had a word.

Fan park? Even better still, would be the idea of opening Anfield on the night, set up a few giant screens at the halfway line, and let 40,000 Reds in to watch it there. It's not a novel idea, they were even doing it for cup games back in the seventies. Most of us will be watching on a tv screen anyway.

It's easier for the club, cheaper for the fans, and allows thousands to watch the game in a football stadium. The fans can even use any amount of flares in Anfield they want. But there's probably some H&S (or other) law preventing it from happening today though.

Or possibly the fact they'll want to crack on with getting rid of the main stand roof so they can get the ground ready for next season.

      Fantastic news.

Jürgen Klopp says Liverpool striker Divock Origi is making rapid progress as he battles to prove his fitness in time for the Europa League final.

The Belgium international’s season appeared to be over when he was stretchered off against Everton with ankle ligament damage three weeks ago.

However, Origi is already back light training at Melwood and still hopes to feature in next Wednesday’s showdown with Sevilla in Basel.

Divock is training but not with the team yet,” Klopp said.

“He’s running and passing.  We have to take it day by day.  We don’t have to make a decision.

“He is recovering quicker than we thought.  The same as Emre (Can).  All the coaches and therapists have done a really good job.

“We cannot force it.  We take what we get.  In this moment he’s in a better way than we expected the day after the injury.  If there’s enough time before next Wednesday, I don’t know yet.”

Another striker desperate to get back before the end of the campaign is Danny Ings.  The England international has been in full training for the past 10 days following a seven-month battle to recover from rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament.

Ings isn’t eligible for the final as he’s not in Liverpool’s European squad but Klopp is weighing up whether to give him a short cameo against Chelsea at Anfield on Wednesday night or at West Brom on Sunday.

“What can I say?  Danny is healthy,” Klopp said.

“He is not 100%, but he’s in a really good way.

“Maybe in the squad. If it makes sense, I am not too sure. We will see.

“In his first session on the pitch it was like he had never been away.

“But you shoot back and the next morning, you get up and it’s not so easy because of the different intensity in the training than before.

“We will see how he reacts to all the training.  I’d say it’s a good situation. He will be 100% when we start for pre-season.

“If the season was one or two weeks longer he could play for sure.  Maybe there’s not enough time for him, but next season we will have a lot of fun.”

Simon Mignolet is set to start against Chelsea with Klopp insisting he can’t worry about the possible ramifications of the Belgian getting a knock ahead of the final.

Deputy Danny Ward is sidelined after suffering a minor knee problem in training last week, while rookie shot-stoppers Shamal George and Ryan Fulton are also currently ruled out.

That leaves Adam Bogdan, who hasn’t played for Liverpool since December, as the only other option to Mignolet currently.

Asked about the risk of starting Mignolet in the final two league games, Klopp said: “Thank-you for reminding me about this.

“We are without Wardy, Shamal and Fulton.  It’s not too easy in this moment.

Wardy will be about another three days and then he should be back.  He’s resting.  It’s not a serious diagnosis".
