I may as well say it since no one else has. Qualifications for CL in 1st full season. Next year the PL title.

Yeah it's pretty impressive isn't it? Even more so with the injury record we've had to endure. There's been the odd blip along the way but I think most of us would have expected that and there was a sustained period of losing form just after Christmas but all in all I think, and the 76 points suggest, we've been pretty consistent.

Proven we can beat the bus parkers without Mane, proven we can win the top 6 league and now we go into the second summer window with the biggest carrot of them all. Jürgen reckons that a lot of the work is already done, I wonder if by that he means the choices have been made but the clubs haven't been contacted yet or if indeed it means things are a lot further forward. Guess we'll know pretty quick once the window opens if that's the case.

Huge respect for how he's got us over the line, the belief he has given these lads and the improvements he's brought about in some of these players.

Excellent first full season, huge step in the right direction.

We needed two big wins to close this thing out and he changed things up and got us two wins. Huge credit to our man Jürgen. Now, bring in the players we need and make us dream next season.

Would be an interesting transfer window. We've the lure of CL and The extra CL money for transfers. Expect better quality signings that will lift the quality of the squad.

Gerrard absolutely glowing with praise for Jürgen, at the same time not exactly a ringing endorsement of the previous manager. Have to agree with him though, Klopp with Suarez/Gerrard/Carra/Sterling/Sturridge at his peak. This summer should go a long way to replacing a few of those players.

If the lad could stay fit he's a good player with plenty of potential plus he's versatile. Were it not for his injury record I wouldn't mind us going in for him tbh. Our midfield is in desperate need for a player who will carry the football rather than simply passing the ball sideways at every opportunity.

So we'd actually be interested in an injury prone inconsistent player ? He has poor focus , poor positional sense and retreats into himself when games go against his team.
We need consistency , drive and a strong mentality from players , OX lacks all of these and this is the reason a weak team are willing to let him go.

I agree, he's everthing wrong about the modern day footballer, saw him on  Soccer Am last season and he said his personal hairdresser comes round every afternoon to cut his sideburns then dance for an hour. If I was on £100k a week as a professional I would be on that training ground every afternoon practising crosses, free kicks dribbling,  and all the other speciality skills
