A lot of Germans really hate Bayern. Every club's fans will sing the bit about beating the leather pants off of Bayern. Of course that's in part because they are so big and successful, but with that has come an attitude that inspires a lot of dislike, especially for how they just buy everybody great from the other German clubs.
It's jealousy of course.
Bayern are one of (possibly) the best run clubs in the world, and that attracts people, be they players or coaches, even fans, and even the most loyal of the anti-Bayern crowd soon drop their moral high ground when they get a call from Sabener Strasse. The club is run by ex-players who know football inside out, where there is no issue with budgets or resources, and everything is provided for the club to succeed at home and abroad. Something with the best will in the world, you can't really say about this club.
We have several ex-Bayern staff here, who know what we need to succeed. As for Klopp, we're halfway through a 4 year project, and he's done half the job. Unfortunately, the team is not yet ready to compete for the league title, maybe any title right now. The target for now has to be maintain a top 4 spot, which is more than achievable. 4th this year is an automatic qualification spot. Then give him a year, possibly two to work on the defending, and when he's got the players he wants, then we can realistically talk about winning the league. That's going to take time, time that unfortunately a lot of people don't seem to have, but it's time we need to provide him with. That will be the 4 years he said, and then we can judge him properly.
Lets put things in perspective, shall we? A few years ago, we were fourth from bottom at this point, a full blown crisis. Today, we're one point off 4th. It is nothing by comparison.
