      Oct 14, 2015 09:52:53 am
First game under our new German Overlord. Can't wait to see what system he starts with and more so the reaction of the players to playing under Klopp

Not sure what stage all the injured lads are in rehab but I would start with :

                             Migs

          Clyne   Gomez   Sakho  Moreno

                       Can      Lucas

                 Milner     Couts    Lallana

                             Sturridge

      1-2 to the Red Men

It will be interesting to see who figures in Jürgen Klopps  starting 11 for the Spurs match. Because  we have had players on international duty and a new manager and coach it would be difficult to predict the team and subs.

Does the season start here? I think it might.

Going to be an interesting game to see the change in style, players in the correct position, and who's in and who's out.

Gomez got injured last night for the U21s and whilst it seems it wasn't serious, I'd be surprised if he featured on Saturday. Same for Benteke who's just getting back into training.

Honestly have no idea of how we'll play under Jürgen, but I'd go with something like:

Mignolet; Clyne, Skrtel, Sakho, Moreno; Lucas, Milner; Lallana, Coutinho, Ings; Sturridge.

I doubt there will be many changes in personnel at this early stage. Hopefully there will be a big change in confidence and attitude.

                                         Mignolet

      Clyne            Skrtel                    Sakho          Moreno

                                           Lucas

                           Milner                    Can

                                      Coutinho

                              Sturridge     Benteke

Hopefully Klopp can get off to a good start and a win with a clean sheet would be ideal 2-0 Sturridge and Benteke.

      Injuries/Suspensions

Christian Benteke - hamstring injury - potential return 4th October

Roberto Firmino - back injury - expected back 17 October

Dejan Lovren - ankle/foot injury - expected back 22 October

Jordan Henderson - foot injury - expected back 21 November

Jon Flanagan - knee injury - expected back 15 December
      http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/liverpool-injury-news-christian-benteke-faces-late-fitness-test-for-early-return-against-everton-a6676931.html

I would expect Lovren's return to be much quicker than expected after training Monday. Bit shocked that Henderson is only expected back towards the end of November.

Have to consider that the new manager had 1 week with less than half the squad and the rest who are fit will join for 2/3 days before his first game, which is away and somehow a difficult one too
hope the players will stand up for the occasion and start immediately understand and implement Klopp's plans and game strategy
I am going for a 1-0 win for the reds
really don't know who will and should play , have to see what the manager wants and sees in every single player in his squad and who can fit in his game plan

I'm not even going to attempt to predict a line-up.

I just hope we see a marked improvement in enthusiasm levels from the players; and even a hint of tactical acumen that is of course yet to come proper, under Klopp.

Spurs are no mugs, they have a good manager themselves and this is going to be a tough fixture. In fact, Klopp's first 6 or 7 fixtures are tough. I digress, I just hope in the event of a defeat people don't get too down because the last couple of weeks for LFC fans has been really good ('cause we've played no footie  :D), and there is a buzz about the place. It's important to remember that Klopp for all his praise, isn't a miracle worker (yet), so the Klopptimism (sorry couldn't resist) should remain throughout these tough fixtures - starting at Spurs.

In saying that, 1-2 Reds. Why not.  ;D

Lucky enough for mate to sort me out with tickets to this. I will be there for Klopp's first game in charge, f***ing A.

      I'd go with

                                     Mignolet

      Clyne            Skrtel                    Sakho          Moreno

                                     Lucas/Can

                  Lallana                                  Milner

                                      Coutinho

                              Sturridge     Benteke

The diamond midfield worked wonders for us under BR and Rafa in seasons when we finished second. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I'd expect Clyne and Moreno to get forward to whip some crosses in for Ben though. Will be a cracker. Another 3-0?

I guess it will be interesting to see how the defence plays, do we have any new back room staff in place yet?

      Hard to tell who will start this one, but with everyone fit and well i'd go with;

                                     Mignolet

      Clyne            Skrtel                    Sakho          Moreno

                                       Lucas

                     Ibe                                Milner

                                      Coutinho

                              Sturridge     Benteke

I fancy us to take all 3 points with a 3-1 win

      Poll added...

Exciting times for us REDS, can't wait to see how we perform under our new Manager, obviously lots of players still injured and a lot only just getting back from International duty, Jürgen won't have had much time to suss things out yet, so could be quite experiemental, looking forward to seeing the redmen back playing together, seems such a long time since we played the toffees.

Good luck JK and the boys...wish I was going to White hart lane.

As JK said himself, we won't see 100% the new Liverpool, but it would be cool to see a little bit.

Can't wait to see what the line up is.. Couts looking like he's fit to start is a blessing.
