Chelsea to Lose 3 in a week? What are the chances?

If Benteke is fit I think we have a chance. If not, a draw is the best we can get in my opinion as Origi hasn't a chance of leading the line properly at Stamford Bridge.

Guessing Milner and Lallana will return aswell, which is worrying given both look confidence shot and distinctly average so far this season.

Hope Klopp can cause Mugrinho to be sacked... We need to be proflific as I doubt we will get too many chances but keep the faith.

      COYR.

Lallana has been the best attacking player under Klopp so far. He's been quite good so far under him, he's not been helped by Coutinho going through a bad spell and us having an injury crisis up front.

Nothing would make my weekend better than for us to beat Chelsea and for Mourinho to get the sack on the back end of it!! I don't really loathe many people in this world, but I can't stand that arrogant, smug little c**t!!  Studge to return to the side and score the winner :)

Last time Mourinho lost two home league games on the trot? Never.

Don't take Chelsea lightly. They may be having their worst patch in a long time but remember what happened the last time we underestimated them.

      Yes - I went there.

Couldn't agree more, they could just hit form against us, who knows? better not take them lightly and be too over confident imo. One thing I will say, I do feel a lot confident going into big games with Klopp as our manager.

I have a feeling we might see Lallana with Firmino and Phil on the bench for this one.

      Just a hunch.

I would be more than happy with a 0-0 or a 1-1 draw.

I think you are right about Firmino, this game is a little too close to the Bournemouth game imo. Coutinho I am not so sure about, athough it wouldn't surprise me if he is benched.

                                       Mignolet

      Clyne           Skrtel                 Sakho            Morino

                                        Can           Lucas

                    Milner              Coutinho           Lallana

                                        Benteke

Not sure if Benteke will start and come off early or Origi will start and Benteke come on at half time. Ibe for Coutinho would be a decent option but I doubt Klopp will gamble too much in such a high profile game as this.

Hopeful 2-0 win Benteke and Milner

Completely agree, really can't see Origi making a impact in this game must go with Firminho up top as he has played there before in Germany and the Brazilian national team he has got better movement better positional play better football brain then young Origi,IMHO

Saint I just realised that that sentence didn't read as I intended.

I actually meant I have a feeling Phil might be benched with Lallana Firmino and Milner  behind Benteke.

Sadly now I think you are wrong :)

I just think it is too close to the last game for Firmino who looked knackered when he came off. I was surprised he kept Clyne on as we don't really have many options if he gets injured.

Hopefully the extra time that Chelsea played and the fact they used quite a lot of first team players will make up for the fact that they have had an extra days rest, and I'm sure we can run the legs off an ageing Chelsea defence anyway. I think Benteke can bully Terry in the same way Andy Carroll does given the right crosses.

Have you not seen Chelsea this season? They'd struggle to win without the other team even stepping onto the pitch ;)

Agree with Compuche on the likely formations and results.

We should go at them for the first 20 minutes and get that goal.  Contain them for the next 25 - that won't be easy.  Then, in the second half they will be under enormous pressure to get a goal, we hit them for our second on the counter. I think Chelsea players will find themselves under great pressure and this will open up space for us to play.

Yes but we are on the up, we have positivity once again. What do they have other than a downward spiral?

      Guess who made this prediction:

      Quote
I'm going to go for a home win here as I haven't been that impressed by Liverpool. I think Jürgen Klopp has gone in there and realised there's a lot of work to do. I keep on saying I expect Chelsea to win and they keep on losing, but I just think they'll have too much for Liverpool on Saturday.

Makes the least sense ever :D

If there were two players I hated of the Arse it was Charlie George and Merson.

Mick will be interested to know that at the time of the '71 final I was frequenting the Prince Of Wales pub in Wimbledon where I bet the local Gooners a pound and a pint on the result.
I honored my debts . It took some time.
The previous year some of them had been wearing Chav scarves.    Lightweights.
