Rubin Kazan 0-1 Liverpool: In game and Post Match debate
      Nov 05, 2015 04:48:18 pm

      Yesterday in Russia

Starting XI: Mignolet, Clyne, Sakho, Lovren, Moreno, Can, Allen, Milner, Ibe, Firmino, Benteke

Subs: Bogdan, Coutinho, Lallana, Lucas, Origi, Brannagan, Skrtel

Christian Benteke returns to the Liverpool starting line-up as Jürgen Klopp makes four changes for tonight’s clash with Rubin Kazan in Russia.

After coming off the bench to score in Saturday’s 3-1 win at Chelsea, the Belgium striker will lead the Reds’ attack in the Europa League tie.

There are also berths for Dejan Lovren, Joe Allen and Jordon Ibe at the Kazan Arena.

Decent strength line up.  Can, Milner and Allen in the midfield - let's see.

Should beat these, but then we should have beaten them at home with an extra man.

Come on reds - let's take a bit of control now in this group.

Agreed mate, but I do take Klopp's point about the 10 men sometimes being more difficult simply because they do stop playing football and drop so deep. I think tonight with them at home they will indeed come out of their shell a little and we'll expose the spaces.

5/6 for us to win or a handsome victory at tasty odds I think is a good bet. Firmino and Benteke up top is the best we've had since Jürgen arrived, really confident about tonight... probably the kiss of death but there you go :D

Also interesting to see Lovren/Sakho starting together, wonder if he moves Lovren over to Skrtel's side, I suspect he will and it was something many suggested about Dejan. He could well prove better there in the long term.

Allen needs to start stepping up and taking the chances he is getting.
Less running in circles and more passing.

Good strong team, let's do this  ;D

Decent line up, shame Allen and Milner are playing. Both in terrible form and the latter having cost us a couple of goals in the last couple of games.

Should win this game and good to see Firmino and Benteke starting.

Think it's quite clear Sakho is becoming first choice CB.

Really like the forward line up, there should be goals.

Interesting to see how Sakho and Lovren get on.

Allen needs to put in a big performance.

Perfect opportunity for both of them to prove us all wrong...Play sh*t and get subbed wouldn't be good for their career at Liverpool right now.

      Positive side though, without doubt..

Did someone from the club sh*t in redknapps cornflakes, F**k his accountant sorry dog or run off with his wife?

He just can't help trying to stick the knife in, and looks like he wants to vomit when he grudgingly has to give praise when it is due.

I hope Lovren doesn't keep encroaching into Sakho's zone as he has before.
