I think you still have to show some promise too though Debs. He just doesn't have the physical size, strength or pace for me and those things are hard to put into your game. He's a Stephen Darby type player for me, looked good at a lower level but when he steps up just doesn't cut the mustard. Sure he's only had 7 senior games but at the same time he needs to show something if he's to be given an 8th.
There's only his pace that can't be changed mate.
Look at the strength Origi's achieved compared to last summer by hitting the gym and Connor's bigger than Clyne and Moreno height wise. Physically and strength wise he can improve. What can also be improved with experience, good coaching and maturity is his positioning and game intelligence.
In time he may prove he's not good enough but to decide he isn't now, after 7 games, isn't that time.
