Can tex be added to the Europa squad in Jan?  If we signed a new player are they just added to the squad or do they replace someone already registered?

I think we can register Tex in Jan mate, and if we want to do so with him or our new signing will have to replace someone. Atleast now we already have to remove Ings due to injury, I so want to see Tex play and show us what he can do but never know why he not even in the squad recently, Suso again ?

So no Lucas, Moreno, Ibe or Allen but Coutinho makes the squad and at least one of Brad Smith or Randall will start tomorrow night.

Great news that Randall and GK Fulton have agreed contract extensions till summer 2019.

Philippe Coutinho in line for Liverpool FC comeback as quartet miss Europa League trip

          14:00, 9 Dec 2015
          By James Pearce

Brazilian in travelling party but Lucas Leiva, Joe Allen, Alberto Moreno and Jordon Ibe all miss out.  Lucas Leiva trained at Melwood this morning - but he isn't among those to have travelled to Switzerland.

Philippe Coutinho is set to make his Liverpool comeback in Thursday night's Europa League clash with FC Sion.

The Brazil international, who has missed the past four matches with a hamstring injury, was part of the Reds' 19-man squad who flew to Switzerland on Wednesday afternoon.

However, Lucas Leiva, Joe Allen and Alberto Moreno all stayed behind as boss Jürgen Klopp opted to rest them ahead of Sunday's Premier League game with West Brom at Anfield.

Jordon Ibe also didn't board the flight to Geneva after the young winger was sidelined by a virus. The hope is that Ibe will have recovered in time for the weekend visit of Tony Pulis' Baggies.

Striker Daniel Sturridge remained at Melwood for treatment after he was ruled out for up to a month with a hamstring strain.

Youngsters Connor Randall, Cameron Brannagan, Ryan Fulton, Brad Smith and Jordan Rossiter have all been called up for European duty by Klopp.

In the absence of Moreno, either Randall or Smith will start the Reds' final Group B clash. The Reds need just a point to ensure they progress as group winners.

Meanwhile, Liverpool have confirmed that Randall and Fulton have both penned new long-term deals.

Full-back Randall and goalkeeper Fulton are now under contract until the summer of 2019.

Bit of good news for a change this week with Coutinho coming back (I was starting to worry!).

Congrats to Randall and Fulton on earning extensions to their contracts.

He's been working 121 with Connor Randall recently so hopefully he's picked up some good tips from him.

      Just checked out your superstition.

      Last 10 games.

Clint started 7 live match threads - we win all seven.

Clint didn't start 3 live match threads - lost two drew 1.

      Coincidence?

I couldn't believe how excited I was before the Newcastle game I didn't think we would batter them but I really thought like many we would be sitting tucked in nicely not only for top four but for the league also. Now I don't know what to think about tonight because if we win well it means nothing for Sundays game against a difficult side WBA.
We should win games like this lets hope its an enjoyable game with a positive result

We have quite a few who haven't made the trip, with a few youngsters traveling so who knows how Jürgen will pick it. I'd like to see:

                        Migs
      Randall  Skrtel  Lovren  Clyne
                          Can
               Hendo      Milner
      Lallana      Origi      Firmino

I don't think Couts will be thrown right in, and I would rather save him for WBA on Sunday. We need goals for confidence, so I'd rather not see Benteke start. And we should leave the CB pairing alone. While that's unfair for Toure, that's such a key part of the team right now. Also wondering if we'll see Clyne on the right and possibly Brad Smith on the left.

      Late substitute no doubt.

Would have been little point taking him if he wasn't planning on giving him some match time.

Don't care how, just go there and get the point that we need to top the group. 3 points and a performance would be great but with the changes we'll be making, a dodgy 0-0 will do me fine here.

Origi grabbing a goal tonight, even off his arse, would really shake our forward line selection up for the whole Christmas period.
