Any truth in the rumours on twitter that the kids from Alder Hey will be visiting sturridge this Christmas.

      ;)

Heard that they think he might be back on the bench for Boxing Day.  Missing 2 Premier League games.

Didn't Sturridge's current run of injuries start with the thigh strain he got on England duty when the owl insisted he trained flat out, even though he was advised Sturidge had his own training programme to help avoid injury.

We have to stop sending our players to international games. They  got injured and the club is made to suffer full time. I don't trust owl a bit. Why must our players over exert in international games, I just don't understand. Their bread and butter is with the club.

Lets just get him fit for January and get him sold to some sucker club like West Ham. Sturridge is a busted flush.

Yep. He still had injuries before then but since that occasion it has just spiraled and become tedious now the amount of injuries he gets. Worse than Michael Owen and Harry Kewell.

Shocking waste of money. Imagine if all that had gone into grass roots footy, building new pitches & facilities, providing funds for coaching etc how much good it could have done.

Bit of a pointless article by the Fail if you ask me.

If I'm off work/sick, I still get paid. Players get paid a sh*t load, so as night follows day the amount that is paid to them when off sick/injured will be more.

What about the closed season when they are not playing, what about the money 'lost' then.
