Can I be honest? It was one of the most boring games I've ever seen... :lmao: but I'm glad we didn't lose.

Not the greatest of games, far from that
we wanted to win the group , sion was very happy to get a draw so they go through in a euro competition group, for the 1st time in their history.... to add to that the pitch looked horrible, frozen,
       happy with the result

Not trying to be funny here but what time did the game start?, I'm still at work and thought kickoff is at 7:45?, have I missed the game?.

Also for those praising their crowd, apparently they use speakers with prerecorded chants to improve the "atmosphere"

Weird thing is, is that despite not really playing much for U21s this last year, Smith looks even better in the first team.

      Yes, all over.

      KO was at 18:00 GMT.

0-0, bore draw by all accounts, I missed it too.

      Finished top of the group.

It wasn't pretty but we topped our group which is all we needed to do.

I'm happy enough that we conserved energy for the Baggies at the weekend.

Well I feel really deflated knowing I missed the game but I guess I didn't miss much by all accounts.

So does that mean we top the group?, if so just want to say heads up to Klopp getting us over the hurdle as start of the season it looked impossible, no slight on Rodgers but I felt it would be a competition that would not have been taken seriously.

Klopp has done well to get us into the knockout rounds, with a couple of quality additions I reckon he could do a Rafa and win European cup in his first season, I really wish he does.

I recorded the game cos I've only just finished work so not seen any of it.

Looks like the delete button will be used rather than the play button?

Yes top the group, clean sheet. Little energy used by the sounds of it, no injuries/knocks. Can't complain

Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp: "It was difficult. The ground was very difficult to play and for both teams the first thing to do was show you were prepared for a game like this and that is what my team did. "It was not our best football and although it is an outdoor sport frozen ground is for other sports.

"We wanted to be first after this game and that is what we did.

A few weeks ago it was far away from us that we could reach this place but we did it and it is really good.

"Everyone will have to change their mind about this tournament now as everyone will see it is something like a small Champions League."

      Lots of positives.

      Clean Sheet.

      First draw in 10 games.

      Top the Group.

      Unbeaten in Europe.

      No Injuries despite pitch.

      Hendo back.

Thats not three bad really   ....... with the chance of meeting Gary "Rat Boy" Neville and his feral brother in the next lot .

       :)

Dreadful game to watch, played in what seemed to be dreadful conditions. That pitch was awful, the ball never rolled flat on the surface. We started the way that I wanted in the pre-match thread, and it's a shame we couldn't produce what I thought we would. And now this sets up, I believe, the scenario of Benteke starting against WBA on Sunday. I see another boring, slow game with no spark if that happens. Such a shame to see Danny (Ings) sidelined, he'd be vital for us right now considering the other Danny (glass). Biggest take away: Brad Smith looks a promising option. Boy can serve a ball from the left.

Very poor game to watch, not helped by the conditions.
