Where will Brendan Rodgers go next?

After he left LFC there was a lot of talk about Brendan going to a top European club. Now he is talked about as returning to Swansea.

Which club do you think he will end up next?

I think the Times reported in the week that he will not take the Swansea job because he wants to manage England next. 

England manager's job in the summer I think. Got some fans in the FA who like his  development credentials. They'll see him as some sort of Glenn Hoddle type - someone who will instill technical based football with a relatively young side...just without the prejudices towards the disabled obviously.

With a bit of luck he will go to Manure or Chelsea, he is dreaming if he thinks he can land the England job.

Ordinarily a top 8 PL club...a Spurs or Everton, but none are available. Would be very surprised if Chelsea or the Mancs hired him except on a short term basis.

I don't think Real Madrid would be that stupid to replace a manager with the class of Rafa with Rodgers. I realise you made the Madrid quote tongue in cheek.

Again that would be a backward step for Real Madrid, give me Rafa over Mourinho any day.

He should look for some Championship club,no presure.

Newcastle once Mclaren gets bagged, ideal fit imo,  they might be in the Championship by then tho, which would suit Rodgers,  no pressure to stay in the prem, and he can build like he did at Swansea,

Spot on Skip, I don't think it does. No harm in discussing it but honestly my only interest will be if he is manager at one of our rivals which I don't think any of those will take a chance on him. Other than that a passing interest in terms of how poor I thought he was here and to see if he appoints Colin as his number 2.

Spurs/Everton are the ones I could see taking a punt on him but he wanted to manage in spain, he's got absolutely no hope in hell of getting Barca/Real but below them it wouldn't be the biggest shock in the world.

He's rich, he has his property portfolio so he's in no rush whatsoever and he's very fortunate to be in that position considering his track record.

Certainly no where near this club, not a topic that belongs in the Kop.

Realistically where does he go in England after Liverpool..........?

A shot at the Champs League with Celtic might be an interesting departure.

Otherwise I don't care - even then it's just a vicarious interest through my eldest (who's wearing red and white more than green and white these days!) and the mrs.......Funnily enough she'd hate it if BR went there - he's a fake for all the personal stuff as far as she's concerned. 

Seems FA want to offer Hodgeson a new deal so Rodgers will probably manage Ireland if it's international football.

This thread confirms what we all knew before he got the boot---that there was a large section of our supporters more interested in the success of Brendan Rodgers than the success of our club.  They were willing to let us drop farther and farther, willing to give Rodgers unlimited funds so he could sign the likes of Christian "The Statue" Benteke, etc etc, all because they wanted Rodgers to succeed.  Not us.  No no no.  Who cares about the club. 

And now that he is gone they still care more about him than our club.  Oh what is Brendan up to, is he feeling ok, where will he be next?  hopefully he'll find a club to manage soon so they can go support him at that club and feck off from ours.

From what I can see pretty much everyone who's posted in the thread was of somewhere near the same opinion of Brendan as yourself, stop being a bellend. 

Ax for where he'll end up, f*** knows. I have about as much idea about where he'll end up as I do about the "lots of talk of Him going to a top European club" in the topic starter. Who said that? I don't recall reading it on here.

no they don't the Ex President does which is totally different. Real have seen that changing manager every season has not brought them the success of Barca just one league title in 7 I think.
