A couple of friends and myself from Rhyl, visited Liverpool for a bit of a night out on Saturday. Travelling by train, we booked into a Travel lodge a few miles outside the city centre. We eventually started off at the North Western, had the Christmas dinner, then walk up to the Philamonic busy pub, resembling an Irish bar. Then we visited the Lime Kiln, with music blaring quite loud, a very friendly lad was enjoying himself immensely dancing to the music, coming over to us shaking our hands. Finishing off at the Welkin.
The Sunday morning had a large breakfast in another Wetherspoons, around the corner from Lime street station, before back off to North Wales. I would just like to say we enjoyed our brief stay and hope to return.
