Excellent, should get a decent chunk of money for him or we bring him back and integrate him into the team
Sounds like we are splitting the difference. Hertha pays a 2 million fee (and all his wages) for a season long loan, but Marko is under contract to us for a few more years.
I've still got high hopes for this lad, and he's getting plenty of experience on loan, which can only be good for him, and hopefully us as well.
He's not getting younger but he's having a very good experience in Germany.
Only 23 mate, and playing in Germany can only help him.2 more years out of Milner, then Grujic comes in?Maybe a pipe dream, but as ever, only time will tell.
Interview with Marko on the official site: https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/first-team/397215-marko-grujic-playing-behind-closed-doors-interviewSays he still wants to play for us. He scored a goal the other day and he's a fixture in Hertha Berlin's starting XI, but I don't see it happening for him here.
If he is given some constant games, he is not a donkey.
Not a donkey but not a first choice Liverpool FC player. I don't think he displaces Henderson, wijnaldum, Fabinho, Ox or Keita to get that run of games.I doubt he would want to be a depth piece for us after playing nearly every game for the past couple of seasons in the Bundlesliga.
