      Anfield tonight

Liverpool players arrive at Anfield this afternoon

Liverpool FC's Main Stand redevelopment gathering pace

Starting XI: Mignolet, Clyne, Toure, Sakho, Moreno, Henderson, Milner, Can, Lallana, Ibe, Firmino.

Subs: Ward, Caulker, Smith, Lucas, Allen, Teixeira, Benteke.

Jordan Henderson returns for Liverpool in this evening’s Barclays Premier League clash with Arsenal at Anfield.

The captain is back in the starting line-up following injury for the visit of the Gunners as Jürgen Klopp makes 11 changes to the side selected against Exeter City last Friday night.

Elsewhere, Mamadou Sakho and Kolo Toure begin in the centre of defence, with new loan signing Steven Caulker named among the substitutes, while Roberto Firmino leads the Reds’ attack.

I've got a good feeling about this game. This is the sort of game where we step up and play well, and that's as strong of a team as we can possibly play with our injuries.

We need to start well and I think we can take them. If we have a slow start than I can see us struggling.

Nervous but hopeful. We generally step up for these games, and we can beat Arsenal !

Hope tonight is the night! Let's get a good comfortable start and kick on from there.

Reasonably strong line up with a few guys coming back from injury.

Hope Sakho n Hendo in particular are 100%.
If everybody is in decent shape then I fancy us to win. Should be a good game as well.

C'mon Redmen, time we got moving up the league!

Let's hope Sakho doesn't play like he did the last time he came back from injury!

Good team though, probably the strongest we could put out.

I'd take a point here to be honest.

There's not much to argue about this lineup I think, aside from perhaps adding Lucas or even Benteke, both of whom have been poor of late so their omission is understandable. I do wonder who is going to stick in front of defense most of the time in that midfield though. Hoping the captain and vice-captain can add much needed energy in that part of the field because that's where Arsenal are arguably strongest.

Caulker is 11/1 to score yet 10/1 to pull his hamstring.

      No sh*t.

Nice to see us playing players suited to high octane football. Instead of faffing around with the ball, it looks like we'll be playing quick balls into our attacking players at every opportunity. I think this is the best way to play vs Arsenal.

All I know is this game is going to be very interesting. With the injury situation being how it is, I have no worries or arguments about the line up. I just hope the lads put in 100% and make whatever chances we create, count!

About as strong as we can field at the moment, all things considered. Arsenal look pretty damn solid, though, but perhaps lacking a match-winner in that side.

our forward line is so lightweight...hopefully we can make it stick up top or it'll be a long night.

expected line up from the goons

i'd like to see ibe and lallana contribute...

Wrong line-up in a way, will be rectified after half time once Arsenal are dead on their feet. Lucas and Benteke to make the difference in the last 20 minutes. Come on Redmen.
