and may have seen him play when watching shaktar play , and haven't noticed
  if true and klopp wants him , he must be good for us
BUT,   seeing how previous contacts ended, other clubs jump in and sign the player , I am a bit sceptic

Similar to Willian. Had 4 caps (2 year wait in between 2011 and 2013) before signing for Chelsea.

Never seen him play other than UCL Highlights. Impressive record. A lot of money. If Jürgen wants him, get him.

I'd love to know how anyone manages to watch that much of the Ukraine league to be that well informed.

As much as people think "not another attacking midfielder" I do think that's a massive problem area of the pitch for us. I think Firmino has been let down in recent games by both players who played up top with him and I can definitely see the logic in this one.

I know absolutely nothing about him as a player other than the stats. One little thing that might give us a boost is he used to play with Coutinho, having a Brazilian front 3 might actually encourage them to remain here rather than move on and they could certainly build an understanding together quite easily.

I hope he's the type that gets beyond the striker, keeps it on the ground and has the ability to beat a man and stay beyond him.

Ibe and Lallana aren't going to score many this season. In fact would anyone be surprised if they didn't score one at all?

So this lads stats do tend to show he knows where the net is and maybe the thinking is to add goals there while we get Studge, Ings and Origi back.

I agree with your reasoning mate I just think most people are surprised because striker seems to be a greater priority. Which doesn't mean we're perfect in that attacking midfield department and couldn't do with a quality addition.

Shakthar seems to me like a very well structured, well trained club and you just need to see the amount of quality they've recently provided to clubs in bigger leagues to believe so. Willian seems to have progressed massively during his time there and judging by the stats, Alex seems to have gone down the same route.
