Well, this move shows where his heart really is. He may well have been a great success for us but if he is willing to throw away his peak years in China for money then all the best. Even if it was a sideways move for more money he'd wasting an opportunity to be honest.

It's over now, no point in dwelling. But I'd say as it stands now it says more about him as person than it does about how well (or badly) Liverpool may have went about the transfer.

I suppose a footballer has a short career, and given that this fella was unlikely to be another Suarez or Messi, maybe the big payday was the right move for him financially, but he has basically killed his own reputation by going there.
