300 for Lucas

Next game for Lucas will be his 300th for the club. He will join a very elite group, currently holding 57 members, of players to reach that landmark for Liverpool.

Gotta say, after his first couple of years I didn't see him making 100 games let alone 300 but credit to the Brazilian on reaching this achievement. Turned out to be an invaluable member of the squad over the years, both on and off the pitch. Comes across as a really nice fella an all.

He keeps bouncing back though doesn't he. Whenever I thought he was spent he almost immediately proved me wrong time and again. A class act on and off the field. A role model for us all.

Who'd have thought that this guy would have played 300 games for us 1 more year fella and you'll qualify for a much deserved testimonial! It says everything about him as a person and a player that he went from being slagged off every week for being poor (I was most certainly one of those) to somebody who IMO should have been made vice-captain at the least when Gerrard left.

I love him, his attitude, the way he conducts himself on and off the pitch, and the way he's settled into life in the city, a credit to himself and the club. We need more like him!

Made up for our Scouse Brazilian especially after some of the abuse he had to put up with from some of our support in the early days, if any image summed him up it was the fist-pump to Klopp at the end of the first-leg against Stoke City.

always been a fan of his from day 1 he is so unselfish and always takes one for the team. But I have to say I am a bit confused after yesterday in the 95th minute I saw him sprint 60 yards in about 5 seconds and we have all been saying he has no pace I think he has been holding out. He may not be world class but he is the best we have for that position by a country mile
