West Ham 2:1 Liverpool (AET): In Game & Post Game Discussions

Enjoyed the match because we created lots of chances and always thought we were likely to win. Would have liked to see Coutinho left on to play with Sturridge instead of Benteke, but I understand why he withdrew Coutinho who was just returning.  If only some of Benteke's chances fell to Sturridge or Coutinho we would have been in the next round.

First time all season I have seen someone in our back four actually, trying to organize, communicate, and yell when needed.

Far as I am concerned Lucas can stay back there for the rest of the season... He did more in one match than.the rest of our CB's have done all year.

Defense's need an air of clam about them to be able to function well. just think our best CB's Thomo, Hansen and Lawro Wright ,Sami and Jamie were not prone to panic attacks as our CB's are today. Lucas brought a lot to the game on Tuesday I wouldn't be surprised to see him play there again.
