I get fedup of people calling him King Kenny. He is a well respected man but not a king of anywhere. Maybe if he applied to be a mayor he would be succesful then people could call him Mayor Dalglesh.

       :lmao: :lmao:

You are either a f**king genius on a wind up or the thickest plank on this forum.

And I appreciate you doing so. Don't worry, it isn't all going unnoticed or under the radar.

In any case, let's get back to the topic at hand - King Kenny.

Not a problem, it took me seven years and a self imposed ban to learn how to bite my tongue and move along.

As for the topic that resulted in such shenanigans, we were calling for a knighthood years ago, there was even a petition if memory serves me right, never got anywhere.

I don't think Kenny would be that arsed but god knows Marina deserves the title of Lady, lovely woman. Behind every good man and all that.

Think Lennon would have got one if he hadnt have been killed

As for Ringo - not even the best drummer in the Beatles :)  (As JL once said)

When will Ringo get the just praise he deserves?! Those drums on Here Comes The Sun, Tomorrow Never Knows, those drum fills in A Day In The Life....just wonderful!

If you can't figure out why he has that name or bother to learn how to spell his name right then you've no place on this forum as far as I'm concerned.

Context is everything, and in the context of LFCReds any more posts like that will see you're posting rights removed.

King Kenny would want it that way.

      Sir Matt Busby
      Sir Alex Ferguson
      Sir Trevor Brooking

      Bill Shankly
      Bob Paisley
      Kenny Dalglish

I just don't understand why some notables get knighted whilst 'as successful' peers do not. Especially when you consider the charity work Dalglish does

Isn't there something supporters can do to remedy this, a petition of sorts?

Shanks, King Kenny & Paisley would probably not be interested in it anyways.

Shanks with his socialist principles would have told them where they could stick it. I doubt Bob would have wanted the fuss. I think the suggestion that an award for the King would be as much about an award for Lady Marina are right but if that's the case she deserves it in her own right!
Ps maybe Ribapuru thinks the King moonlights as a P D James detective?

Knighthoods are bullshit, but if services to football are enough to warrant one, then The KING should have about ten now!
Hope he's granted one, then refuses it on the grounds that he doesn't recognize the throne 😃

Yo, you know the Kop nicknamed Robbie Fowler, God. Tiring init, I mean he was good and all but unless he became a pastor he would be succesful then people would call him Father Fowler.

That being the case it does leave me to wonder why the instigator himself comes out of the exchange untouched.
Questioning the status of a Liverpool legend is in itself entirely unacceptable and something no genuine LFC supporter would dream of doing.

I think I just expressed myself badly that's all. What I meant was I find almost all nicknames cheesy for everyone, but that's just me. However I think Sir Kenny Dalglish, would have a good ring to it. Also I apologise for the miss spelling of the name before. I could have sworn it had an e in it but I guess not.
