      Mario Balotelli (to China? Sampdoria?)

EXCLUSIVE - Balotelli-Jiangsu Meeting: club to pay Mario £12M per season
Liverpool could be finally about to offload Mario Balotelli after the club received an offer from China, according to Il Milanista.

The Italian striker, who is flopping on loan at AC Milan this season, has reportedly been offered a mammoth pay packet to go and play for Jiangsu Suning.

Balotelli could be in line to earn as much as £11.8million-a-season if the reports are to be believed.

Jürgen Klopp is allegedly ready to get Balotelli off the club's books as he plans a huge summer overhaul of the squad - but he does still have 27 months left on his Anfield deal.

I was one of the dopes who thought he would be a good player for us. How he has conned the world into thinking he is a top player I'll never know.

Never got to partner Danny upfront on a consistent basis which we all wanted to see at one point but nevertheless he has an attitude problem and he looks average to me anyway; he doesn't score enough goals from open play.

      Has to go.

      Likewise mate.

Although I still think he is a very talented footballer but just can't be bothered.

If we can get around £35m from the sales of Benteke and Mario, that would be a brilliant summer to start with!

The 'can't be bothered' attitude surrounds Balotelli, he doesn't give a sh*t, the supporters are not interested and the manager has lost patience with the fraud - China beckons Mario.

''Get out of jail card'', ''whopping offer from China'' and too good to be true springs to mind.

Amazing when you see a player of his talent decide to take early retirement and jet off to China... Honestly, dont care - if we get anything for him I would be delighted.

Yep. If we can get decent money for Balotelli it should mean Klopp has a bit more money to spend.

Agreed but at the same time, we will have done well if we manage to recoup so much as even a quarter of what we paid.

Didn't the Echo state that we were confident that we could recoup most of what we paid?

Whether that's the case though is something we will have to wait and see. He was a shocking signing and it's one of those transfers we just have to get shifted and not be too fussy about the price. Sooner we get rid the better.

I was one of the dopes who thought he would be a good player for us. How he has conned the world into thinking he is a top player I'll never know.

No one was under any illusion that Balotelli was going to be without a doubt a superstar for us.  The question was, was it worth the risk to pay a relatively small fee for him, in the hopes that we could indeed harness his talent.  We knew before we made the offer for him that it could go bust, that was part of it.  And the club decided that it was indeed worth the risk.

As for him being a top player: I think he has proven that on his day, he absolutely IS a top player.  The problem is of course the attitude.  As opposed to certain players who have the right attitude but even on their day are still just mediocre.  That was what was/is so frustrating about Balotelli.  He can just suddenly turn it on like a switch and do something world-class, then he goes back to looking apathetic.

It's sad.  He really could have been a top player if someone had been able to fix his head.  Maybe I'm writing him off too early, he is only 25 after all.  Maybe someone can still set him straight.

This thing about Balotelli being a top player - I've still yet to see it, he's not consistent enough to be a top player.

We definitely made a few quid through his name on shirts etc, but as for what he did in the shirt would equate to sweet F**k all.

We'll either bin him off to china and recoup the money we paid - or he'll be fu**ed off on loan somewhere else. Only options I see for the lazy b***ard.

he's not consistent enough to be a top player.

Huyton got there first. He isn't consistent therefore he can't be labelled as a top player surely. He might score a rocket from thirty yards or do a nice trick once every 7 or 8 games but so did Ryan Babel.
